One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

I think there is Zero chance that Luffy and Imu end up friendly if only because Imu wants Vivi as his sex slave or wants Vivi dead.
As is customary, the minute you boil things down to something simple, Luffy will either see you as a friend, or put you in his crosshairs (assuming something else doesn’t grab his attention before the Beatdown).

Honestly, Luffy may be the type of guy to believe Snake when he talks about the glories and benefits of a cardboard box.
Of course he would. And considering it is Luffy he could make it work. Thank you G5 for toon logic.

So did Crocodile. And likely had both her and Robin. And then he spent Marineford ensuring Luffy would not die agaibst the actual threat.

I could totally see that happening with Imu.

I fucking covered this.

Luffy was going to let Crocodile fucking rot in Impel down and straight up said no to the help until Iva promised that He would keep Croc in line and in all reality if Crocodile ever showed up and gave him half a reason Luffy would happily kick his face in.

As I said, friends. Like with all Luffy’s friends, he’s cool with you if you say you won’t do what he asks you not to do. I can see that happening on such a scale if only because it would be the funniest resolution and as outlined I fully expect Blackbeard to kill Imu straight after.

Wasn’t it said by Oda that finding the treasure and the final war wouldn’t be the end of the story? Because there’s three potential final bosses:

-Imu

-Blackbeard

-Shanks

All of them are viable candidates. Take your pick. My pick is either Imu or Shanks.

Saw this theory video some time ago:
Thoughts? I had a peek at the next chapter's raws

All I will say is Imu needs to find a way to revive Saturn endless just to watch him die over and over again. Chapter confirms it was that much of a fuckup.

And Loki was obviously set the fuck up.

And I don’t think Shanks became a Yonko now.

I do think we are dealing with 2 shanks at this point. Our Shanks is the real deal, then we have a twin/brother/clone (personally vote for the last) which is an agent of the Gorosei. He did just come in with a demon portal, unless Shanks cabin has very off the rails decoration. I used to think there was only a single Shanks and he had dodgy interactions with the Gorosei to further Roger's plan by being a triple agent of sorts, but this latest chapter makes me convinced that's not the case.
So Loki is the good guy for wanting to preserve his culture rather than let the World Government creep in using Free Trade and his father was a dipshit who let a monster like Caramel operate because Giant’s might be a bit retarded.
Please oh please let it be about valuing tradition and saying fuck off to globohomo. I'm also convinced Loki was fucked over, just not sure if it was real Shanks or fake Shanks, also, very curios about who he was talking with. Also, we have Captain Mid floating close to Elbaf with Killer, so those 2 might make another triumphant return to be jobbers again.

It would certainly explain how he and his crew got to Marineford stc and it would certainly add to the confusion if they could both do it. Then you wouldn’t know which Shanks is which if he’s a clone.

On the brightside, Clone Shanks does give BB and Shanks a way to fight and Shanks not to die

You linked the last page of the chapter
Well this should be from the top.

Depends on whether or not this Shanks has a scar or a missing arm. And even then, Luffy could expose the fake by asking the clone how he lost his arm (assuming he thinks that far ahead).

Fun fact, the way Luffy greets Saul at the beginning of the chapter is exactly the same way Ace greeted Shanks in the Ace's Story part 2 novel. So Luffy probably picked it up while watching Ace learn from Makino. Wonder if that'll come up at some point.
I assumed he picked it up off the Yakuza he made friends with in Wano cause the note stated Luffy was doing it in a Yakuza like way.

So wait, why aren't the children being taught how to be warriors anymore? You can still trade with other nations and train to protect your home, you know. Whose decision was this, King Harald's or someone else's? Did Big Mom's tantrums have something to do with this?

I can only assume that having an arc where a country isolates itself would make things Wano 2.0.

Also, I really still think Loki is gonna be the arc’s villain considering how King Harold was mentioned as “good” and “wise”, and so much hype is being made over Loki being chained down, and what’ll happen when he’s released.

As for the summoning circle, I really hope Oda isn’t having it where Shanks was a bad guy the whole time, if only because it’d go against everything that’s been shown about him.
