It just outs every one of these people who were 100% okay with omnibuses for ukraine and israel now claim to have always been for single issue bills. I will also guarantee you the moment Trump threatens a veto on their pet projects they will go back to the omnibus.Former McDonald's employee and literal African have finally forced the GOP to split issues into individual bills instead of opening their omnibussys for Democrats to sodomize
-no vote on debt ceiling for the time being
-vote on separate CR bill for funding through March
-vote on separate ag bill
-vote on separate hurricane relief bill
You know, the way Congress should handle things instead of writing thousands of pages long omnibussys
NEWS -- IN THE GOP MEETING -- GOP leadership has a slide up that has an "agreement" on the debt limit
The "agreement" says that House Republicans will raise the debt limit by $1.5T in the "first reconciliation package" alongside a promise to CUT $2.5T in "net mandatory spending in the reconciliation process."
Probably this.I'm 99% sure potato Joe and friends were rushed to DC to have them in standby in case the bill situation goes south and they need some pen flips.
you see that claim on nearly every single advertisement for an AI product, how can you possibly say "no one claimed to just run a LLM and be done with it?"no one claimed to just run a LLM and be done with it.
even if someone is dumb enough to do it, the inevitable fuckup in that case will scare others enough to be more cautious and sensible.
besides, what's the quota for human error? you will never get 0.0% error rate without the appropriate processes, so the whole MUH AI scare is moot since those same processes would apply too. after that it's just a matter of speed and cost (which is the usual reason for fuckups, AI or not)
The Washington Senators are never supposed to beat the Globetrotters, so they're malfunctioning. What the fuck is going on with republicans.
Do you have this on loop on your radio playlist too?I love the fact that I keep hearing doge on the radio.
Let’s be real for a minute. Democrats got SOME things they wanted and Republiccians got SOME things they wanted in the original bill. Republicans came out slightly ahead. Pretty balanced; yeah a little pork here and there but nothing unusual.Well, it's the Republican's fault for not giving the Democrats each and every thing they want with a pretty little bow on it. Don't you know, that's how politics works. One side gets everything they want forever and the other side gets voted into power in the largest systemic political change of 100 years and nothing changes because that one side gets everything they want forever.
AFAIK, the inauguration is just a fancy ceremony—one that Trump is largely funding himself because he didn't want Washington to be involved in his transition team. I also think it's like historic societies and other orgs that help organize it.Is it true innaguration can be postponed if the government shuts down lmao listening to CBS right now while working. What a shit show
The 20th Amendment guarantees the inauguration takes place but a government shutdown effecting the day to day work of the federal government could potentially lead to a more disorganized presidential transition period which may or may not effect how some proceedings go on January 20.AFAIK, the inauguration is just a fancy ceremony—one that Trump is largely funding himself because he didn't want Washington to be involved in his transition team. If for some reason they all dropped the ball, Trump would still become the next president, but he wouldn't have the fancy ceremony on Jan 20.

The idea the entire bill was all for democrats is just folly - it’s the Republican GOP that put the bill together.
It is just insane to lay blame on the minority House when it is the Majority House that runs the rule book.
If Trump wants total hardball and wants that debt ceiling gone for two years then yeah, he is entitled to demand that but the House isn’t obligated to do anything he asks - it is Mikes choice. Mike I think knows his days are numbered anyways because he can’t possibly keep the majority happy as well as Trump. You can’t do a balancing act when one side (Trump versus hardcore FC) each want the heavy end, it just can’t work.
Mike has done better than I thought he would, but he isn’t a fucking magician.
We were always cool with them until they kick out whomever our glow niggers wanted out, and then they invariably turn to kick us out in thanks, because we're not Islamic.Democrats are fine with headchoppers now.
And probably a few Republicans as well.
