Can anyone explain away why, if Nick was an actual target, he didn't break into the house of the target but rather a house next door and went on another killing spree? The only things that have come out right now is that he's Catholic, his last name seems to be Irish, and he killed a roommate or a friend/associate. Nothing about him at all screams some deranged leftist that would have gotten upset that Nick trolled women.

They guy kept his handgun in his hand the entire time, tried Nick's back door (lol), and mimed finger guns up at Nick's room. I think it's becoming increasingly obvious he wasn't there for a chat.

He broke into an adjacent house when cops arrived and he panicked, and we don't know the details of that B&E. It's very possible they had a door or window unlocked.
