There's a project called opendream to port SS13 to SS14.

If chuds and ERPers are removed from SS13, what's left of the playerbase?

I laughed loudly when I watched that the first time, the guy who hit the black with a fireaxe gets curbed in turn and captain just casually stun-guns the black and promptly moves on.

I cleared my cache and data and Byond still will not allow me to connect to the new riveria station or any server, except the old riveria server.

I can connect to the website's browser, but I cannot connect to the servers for ss13. Tried to clear my cache and re-installing, didn't work.

It won't let me download the beta of byond either

how do you expect anyone to help without you even saying what error message your getting. How exactly can't you connect, is it closing the window on launch, is the UI just white screening, do you get a connection error? Can you connect to Byonds website in your browser?

It actually might just be down again ill be home in a couple hours

Usually I can leave it up for weeks at a time with zero issues but its starting to seem like there is some kind of issue that periodically cripples it

Updates
  • unlimited respawn for populations of 5 or less
  • removed 'examine' tab as it was rather annoying code and not very helpful
  • nuke op shuttle transit times fixed
  • transit effects should go away properly when you fall out of a shuttle now (rewrote how transit effect is applied)
  • additional shuttle dock added to arrivals
  • months old minor hotfix PR merged from pubby finally (@MAAAD i think right?), after editing out the changes I didn't want
  • should no longer be able to put two items in inventory slots while stripping items off someone

Yeah, I really don't have time to coooode right now. I'll try to do some more minor tweaking during the holidays.
 
Holy shit. Apparently at least some of Admiral Hippie's content was archived by somebody named 'Zeldazackman'.
Was looking for SS13 content on YT and found this obscure channel which has several reuploads of Hippie's vids and songs:

I recognize that as a ckey, they played hippie for a good while and ended up drifting for a bit before ending up at citadel (he made the admin list with that ckey, see below). Of course, he's a furry, brony, ligger, and vore fetishist (I repeat myself). He uses that same name and Flandre (2hu) profile picture everywhere...

On his steam account (Archive), He has 1,300 hours in factorio, and played 87.1 hours total in the last two weeks. Most people are up 12 hours at most therefore, he has spent the last 52% of his waking hours ( 87.1/168 ) in the last two weeks playing games minimum playing JUST STEAM GAMES. I'll cut him some slack since it's right before Christmas though.

I have no solid evidence which one of these he is aside from probably not Lesbian.

From his reddit he lives within philly (archive). He runs AI stuff (archive). Note another possible name, "John Smith", also he's 25-34 now in the Microcenter review so 9 years on cit based on his earliest reddit ss13 post, (archive) = 16-24 age range. But wait. On his furfinity account his activity dates back twelve years so that would be 13-22 age range. He's probably a brony from this comment (derpibooru is some MLP booru):

We also know that he has at least one 3060, a 1060 (?), and a 7700x, a 13th gen I5, and an I5 6600 (a) from this microcenter review and reddit. From this gametracker thing (archive) his earliest computer is a Phenom II 1055T (released 2010) on a Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 (Released 2011, bought around same time so not cheap, 1055 was a $200 cpu). Copious consumer? IDK, I've only bought two desktops in a decade and only because one fried from a lighting strike.
