What a bum. Even in Canada, I'm sure the welfare office is going to ask him if he's even bothering to apply to jobs. Sure he can fake it but he actually has to apply. He's probably going to have to prove he has no money, which he does now.

I'd like to think that he'd be bullied over this or go insane for not having any human contact, but Peetz is a lump that does nothing interesting so I'm not getting my hopes up.

First, the federal minimum wage only applies if you’re working for the federal govt. minimum wage for most people is set by the provinces. It’s currently $15/month in Ontario; Peetz’s province of residence.

If he’s paying that little for rent, he could get by in Ontario for the better part of a year.

I really hope we get one of his famous meltdown videos because he told the welfare office he was too trans and autistic to work and they told him that's not an excuse and also not true.

Since people were asking, the average cost of living in Ontario for a single person is about $2.300 but that includes rent and I don't think Peetz currently pays rent if he's still living in the pensioner's attic. Without rent average is $841 but as we know Peetz is no average man so if we double that to $1,500 to include his furry porn budget he has about 10 months of living the high life before he's up shit creek.

Chantal might be headed for Canada for a Christmas visa run. If she pops up livestreaming in a hotel or a rented car, then she probably "borrowed" money from Peetz. He's stupid enough to give it to her.

She and Salah are also going to be hyper-aware than Peetz has a 15k windfall. Salah will be offering Peetz "investments" offline. Peetz letting Chantal and her lastest sandnigger scammer know he has 15,000 cash was a really bad idea.

I predict Peetz will waste 5k on anime and then soak up the other 10k while refusing to work. That's assuming he doesn't give thousands to Chantal and Salah, which is a bad assumption. He'll wait until the absolute last moment to even try to find a job, probably waiting until his bank account drops under 1k.

When he actually tries to get a job in 6-ish months, he'll be shocked to find there aren't many at-home phone banks hiring and he needs to actually leave the house. Then he'll stop paying rent to his roommates knowing full well they're too nice to throw him out on the streets. We'll know Peetz can't find online work when his bitching about public transportation increases.

This 100%. Peetz got this job when the pandemic was still a little bit relevant, at least in Canada. Everyone has now agreed that it's fucking over except for a small group of batshit insane people. All the places now are doing work from home 2 days a week in office 3. Couple that with the massive influx of Indians who are more than happy to go to an office for less money than fat boy. If he had even the tiniest bit of sense in his head he would hold on to the job he has like grim death.

He got some call center job after he moved out because Chins ate all of his money. It's the same kind of job he quit when Chantal told him she'd just "take care of him".

He’s an absolute idiot to be quitting any decent full time job right now.

I think employment has stabilized for now and no employer is going to be impressed with his work history.

I really can’t see him doing anything but call center work and every time he starts over, he restarts at the bottom end of the pay scale.

People like Peetz don’t think that far ahead. They’re only concerned with satisfying their immediate needs which allows them to get away without thinking ahead. It’s no wonder that these people always end up poor and miserable. Unfortunately they’re still allowed to vote.

For some reason, Canadian banks are still approving mortgages with down payments of 5%. With as little as 11k down, one could get a mortgage of up to 250k. Which is useless in my part of Ontario, unless you want to buy a place in the middle of a literal gang war zone, but I'm assuming goes much further in the Gatineau area (is that still where he lives?)

Not that he'd necessarily meet the other requirements to be approved for a mortgage. And the high monthly interest would kill him. And obviously any place he was in charge of maintaining would fall to shit pretty quickly. But just imagine. Some other poor lifelong minimum wager would make the most of a windfall like this to secure future housing. I'm sure the months of sleeping and flapping are better uses though.
