Personally, I don't give a single shit what some politician wants or doesn't want, all I care about is him doing what he's sent there to do. You think people called because Musk demanded it? The FC is just doing this shit for the attention just like what the dems will do when they go off on Trump people during confirmation hearings and try to get soundbites. New bill is much better then the old one any cope about how it's the same spending or whatever is legit braindead.
They accomplished nothing, divided the party even more and pretended to care about fiscal issues when all of them have votes in the last few years that show otherwise. Frankly I wouldn't do individual item bills either because you just know the FC will cuck on ones you want cause of some cringe reason while dems will go lockstep and shut it down.
Media can say whatever but this bill is a huge win for a incoming Trump term compared to the first. Removing that much pork basically via X shows how effective DOGE is gonna be and how upset these politicians are going to be. The original 1500 pages shit was going to pass EASILY until Elon posted about it flat out.

No because Canada would offer such a pisspoor resistance. However if I was Trump I would make it clear that any resistance from Canada would be interpreted as war from the UK and use it as an excuse to carpet bomb London, and not the kind of carpet the average london resident prays on 5 times a day. I would also bomb every mosque and drop a pallette full of middle eastern recipes printed out to prove an obvious point.

The left's tactic is to hold things for ransom and push through Omnibussy bills so they can get stuff they wouldn't normally get passed because "why did they cut funding for children's cancer hospitals?!?!" If they want to fund cancer research for kids, pass a clean bill funding cancer research for kids, not "Amendment 713 funds cancer research for kids in the GigaPork bill of 2024, between 'free tranny surgeries for Ukrainian refugees' and 'studying the long term effects on high fructose corn syrup in the Congo.'"
