The mixer isn't Japanese though, a lot of the EN girls use western mixers whom they can talk about the work in English with (Holomem pick their own staff to work with on music production afterall) can always find them in the song descriptions.

Just because he's in LA doesn't mean he creates Western styles of mixing.
In his descripion on YT it says "Hi I make rock and jpop-inspired stuffs" and his playlist of works confirms: it's all utaite/vtuber stuff.

I attended a panel from an Aus-based mixer/composer who did one of the Phase generations' songs as well as work for indies. Can't say there was anything revolutionary in it besides his advice that Soundcloud should be avoided if you want to get your music out there - use Youtube instead.

I linked song, before Moom took it down because apparently that version had some mistake in it. I was meaning to post link to a stream, which indeed was kino, Mumei and Fauna exude great energy together.
