anime is nothing more than advertising for the manga they recreate.

I don't know precisely what happened but at some point the focus shifted from adventures with morals to intercharacter drama about being gay and getting cucked and I can't prove that it's strictly because they hired Rebecca Sugar but it certainly fits with literally everything else she's ever done.

I don't know about most, but a lot is. What I really hate is when they slip degenerate shit into otherwise good anime. Ideally you can just tell by the cover art alone and stay away from it, but that's often not the case.

Maybe if you read synopses you can weed more trash anime out, I don't typically do that and just like going in blind, but even that doesn't seem to really help much anyway.
