I love when they say "Men suffer in silence" lol, WHERE? Men constantly take it out on everyone around them when they are upset. You will always know a man is upset because he will have a short fuse, yell, stomp, slam doors etc. with no regard of how it affects people around him. So I got to thinking deeper on it. People want to pay extra attention to males becuase it’s hard for them to come forward (yes? same for everyone), they are often not taken seriously (same), they are seen as less of a man (by moids, and women face extreme stigma along with blame.)

Let us not even get into the fact that by age 16, 97-99% of men are stronger than adult women, so the natural unlikelihood of abuse being from the direction of women has a physical limitation from the start. So, yes, there will be a question as to how. Even though people automatically believe men because they are so desperate to amplify crimes women allegedly commit as if that makes them look better. It’s near unrealistic, and that lets people laugh at it, just like seeing heads explode in a movie is fine because no one will see that IRL.

I'm so glad you mentioned the concept of Lavender Marriage. Personally, while I do find the idea of it good on paper and could see why young people, especially women nowadays are interested in it, it also rubs me the wrong way due to the fact that most lavender marriages are women being beards for gay men and not only these goids get to be status boosted by the society, but also they still have the same access to women's emotional labor through this marriage the same way a straggot moid would have through his own marriage.

The knowledge that divorces are always a rift in your child's life that hurts them, compared to your parents growing up and learning to get along. The purpose and vow-greement that you're in this for keeps. IMO if you divorce you're transferring relationship stress and its politics onto your kids to relieve your own issues.

If your partner is punching walls and having anger management issues while you sit there and do nothing, that's not overcoming things or learning to get along, that's enabling and you hoping that he doesn't turn his fist towards you. Yes, divorce affect children but people also absolutely overlook the consequences of children growing up in a household where they seen their parents hate each other but pretend everything is okay for the sake of marriage. This reminds me of all the posts that used to wash up on r/AITAH about how one spouse "realized" that they were gay 3 kids and 30 years of marriage later. Actually, I noticed that it was always the women who "realized" they were gay and the men who knew they were gay all along and married the women to cover their own asses.
