Hannah's mom literally wants to shave her head before she turns 1 and talks about how her infant daughter can still have sex with penises, just ones attached to trans women, and talks repeatedly about how she might choose to be a boy someday. It's stupid to think this pattern is suggestive of potential bad boundaries around sex and pooning out the kid? When has this person ever exceeded expectations in any way whatsoever?

You can call it pearl clutching all you want, but my predictions on Becky have been pretty spot-on for a number of issues, from how she gave birth to Hannah's flat head. I'd love to be wrong that Hannah is being subjected to (at a minimum) non-contact sexual abuse, but I don't think that's very likely. She's in a household full of fetlife adults who won't take their child out on child-appropriate excursions but repeatedly brag about having her in the room while they use drugs and watch child-inappropriate content.

I don't think Hannah is being treated bad enough to get CPS involved. Is her care excellent? Heck no! but she seems well fed and happy enough despite the lazy parenting approach. Which I guess says something for the resilience of babies, even if you give only basic care and very minor stimulus on daily basis.

We're not at least at a level where the commune is ignoring the baby being eaten alive in its bed by rats level of neglect. Or left in a hot car for hours.

What I've gathered from watching other cows engage in various levels of child neglect is that all CPS is going to do in this sort of situation is give the parent(s) guidance on basic, necessary childcare practices/ideally put the fear of God into the parents via "holy shit CPS was called on us and they say we need to make changes". Which would be good for Becky, but no one here is going to cowtip so it's ultimately irrelevant.

I'm surprised Hannah's paediatrician hasn't made the call thanks to her head, but I have zero idea when paediatricians feel the need to intervene.

Infighting isn't healthy but I'm pretty sure it's fine to call others out or make fun of them as long as it doesn't derail the thread. Being performatively nice is what makes reddit Reddit. I didn't take the leaker at their word and believed them to have a colored bias, but if a mod verified their identity while respecting their privacy then it was the closest to exclusive details the thread was gonna get. They collaborated some of the speculations while denying others which seemed fair enough. Sure they could get annoying about not being completely trusted as an insider, but they left after being told they were wrong and the worst case hyperbole was right. Eh, disagree. Yeah, the leaker left when they got mad we disagreed with him and didn't take him at his word, but they were gonna find a reason to leave sooner or later. The leak was terrified of Becky, and as such was always going to hedge everything they said. I don't think that much was lost.

So up till the the whole "PunningPundit" episode- Daniel was the live in boyfriend who was really only expected to maybe foot his part of the bills and buy Bex things to keep her onside.

When she got not-cancer from Pundits nasty dick. Mami told her it was consequences for sleeping around, Jackson still didn't have a solid job yet so the only option left was Daniel. He offered, but Bex made a whole song and dance on how she can't accept help from him because loved ones would "help" and then (gasp) expect shit from her.

Bex I think told him if he wants to support her, he needs to prove he's around for the long run + he knew his dad was super unwell and this seemed to trigger a strong desire in him to get "married" and start sowin some oats.

He has also been trying to go thru a process of de-edgifying himself - and seems to earnestly want to prove the "marriage" means something to him irregardless of how legally he could just leave tomorrow w/ only the child custody to fuss about.

It would be somewhat sweet if:

a) Bex really had anything to offer him outside somewhere to live

b) Bex wasn't a black hole of wants who immediately looks for new dick when she gets bored of both cucks.
