"Current year" terms that piss you off

I've said this before, but I hate the word "content." Illustrations, paintings, music, literature, photographs, and films are all content now. When you watch Seven Samurai or listen to Kind of Blue, you're consuming content, the same as eating a sandwich. The Sistine Chapel is vertical wall decoration. Hamlet is a series of text arrangements.

Edit: I also hate "soyspeak." Every group has its own slang to strengthen identity and create boundaries between insiders and outsiders — Kiwi Farms and adjacent communities have terms like "A-log," "politisperg," "gayops," and "MATI" — but Soyjak Party is raping the English language the same way as TikTok. Posts by users with soyjak avatars are almost unintelligible. Reading them is like reading excerpts from Trainspotting or A Clockwork Orange.

What happened to "media" or "pieces of art"? I guess it's all from the video essay and the dreaded TikTok crowds trying to oversimplify everything.
Also I said it in one of my previous posts here but I hate seeing Soyjak Party shitting up sites including this one. Glad to see I'm not the only one fed up with this shit.

EDIT: I hate "allowlist" and "denylist" and other forced PC shit like that – nobody had any fucking issues with "whitelist" and "blacklist" until George Floyd protesters decided to shit up the world along with COVID-19 messing with people's brains.

Pilled and Maxxed.

1. Take something that human beings have been doing forever..
2. Or something they have just started doing....
3. Add "maxxing"....
4. Et Voila! Gen Z has re-invented all of civilisation and human behaviour and achievement, and claimed it as theirs by "maxxing" it.
5. I also dislike all this "pilling" shite....red-pilled, white-pilled, black-pilled.....it just means they do not have any usable basic vocabulary, like "realistic" "hopeful", "pessimistic"....they are dumbed-down-pilled, when they could be Vocab-Maxxing......
6. I like lists.

First time seeing it. What does it even mean?
People who wanna fuck inanimate objects, quite literally this image kek

"Thats so valid"
"Youre so valid for that"

"I don't need you to tell me how valid my statement is. I'm the one who said it, I know how valid it is".

Really any of those nonsensical affirmation words or phrases just irritate me. They're just a bunch of meaningless empty words that say and contribute nothing
you need a Heckin with that Valid

Tone indicators.

I've been on the internet long enough to be aware that every corner on it has some form of spastic lingo so I don't really care because you can mostly avoid them; but unlike most things I can't even understand what half of these tone indicators mean and they only serve to make the conversation painfully awkward because one person feels the need to control the narrative instead of letting it flow naturally and have faith in the other person they're talking to. The people that use these are terribly fucking insecure and manipulative and tend to be passive aggressive whenever a misunderstanding happens instead of civil and forthcoming about their issue which ruins the point of a tone indicator anyway. Why use /h if you're being honest in the first place? It just comes across as disingenuous.

Being told "rose-tinted glasses" when you say X was genuinely / objectively better in the past.

I fucking hate the retards that spur this shit, they're bona fide niggercattle incapable of accepting that something old or an aspect of the past was better because of this bizzare "old is bad, new is good" sentiment that's sprout up within the last decade; resorting to coping to the max and being a complacent shithead to the status quo.

Never forget how good things used to be.

What really gets me is people will constantly bemoan the world has gone to shit and will always talk about how next year will hopefully be better than the dumpster fire last year was. Then they turn around and get pissed when you say shit was better twenty years ago or longer.
