They are doing that already! The point I was trying to make was that universal suffrage was a mistake because we have millions of apathetic single issue voters who do not care about the big problems. By having something as simple as homeownership be a gateway to suffrage, then we will have people more invested in the community and country who would be more defensive about corpos and foreigners buying land.

Biden commuted the death sentences of 37 out of 40 Federal death row inmates this morning. One of them was New Orleans hit-man Len Davis. Oh, he was also an on-duty police officer while also being a hit-man. If they made a movie out of this story no one would believe it:

To be fair even assuming Biden is mentally there enough to do anything more than sign whatever is put in front of him I doubt he actually has any details of whom he's pardoning.
It looks like they're just blanket pardoning thousands of people at once presumably to cause as much chaos as possible before leaving office.

If anything that is a better system then we have now, and a lot more honest. Have the rich pseudo-nobility class trade money and favours for seats in the Senate, and cap the annual income of members of the House (and their family) to the average American wage - including financial gifts and bribes.

The Gaetz report is out, alleging he fucked a 17-year-old hooker (17 is illegal in Florida where it happened) and used both cocaine and ecstasy. It is important to note that Gaetz was never taken to court over this stuff and the Department of Justice did not file charges.

That aside: Good very early afternoon, Kiwis. People are alleging Matt Gaetz has done some very naughty things. I wonder if this will affect his presents this year? Probably not, as Santa, unlike journalists and politicians, is a neutral and fair omniscient arbiter of morality.

Greenberg was the one who procured fake ID for the girls, drugs, as well as transported minors across state lines. Ever since he was rolled up in 2020 it’s been clear he was a tool of the deepstate to sting problematic republicans.
They won’t indict Gaetz because they know Greenberg broke the law on their behalf and would readily admit so in a court of law to throw all of them off a bridge.
