For once the trannies are right, it takes a lot longer than 1.5 months for the swelling to fully go out and sensation to fully come back. When I had jaw surgery it took me like 3-4 months to regain feeling to a level close to pre-surgery, and there's a tiny bit of my lip that still feels funny almost a year later. But of course, that was to correct something that actually was wrong!

Yeah I got a hairline fracture on my jaw doing MMA sparring, from an RNC (Rear Naked Choke) where I got my chin tucked in so he couldn't lock it in properly to choke me out, but the guy was big, and he was fucking strong, and the pressure must have popped it. I didn't realize at the time, just tasted blood in my mouth but it didn't really hurt, but about a week later I got an abscess where the fracture was that blew up like a balloon, and started forcing the break open.That hurt like a motherfucker so I went to hospital. When they X Rayed it they saw it had a hairline fracture, so they drained the abscess (It actually popped the morning I went to the ER over the sink, felt like half a pint of slime and blood, still have a scar on the side of my jaw that looks like I took a .22 to the face lol) and put a plate in to hold the bone together.
They must have severed the nerve that runs through my jaw though because afterwards though the whole bottom right side of my face was numb. It's come back a little but even years later the bottom corner of my bottom lip is permanently numb, like that feeling you get after the dentist, feels like rubber.
Thats why when Troons and Pooners talk about just "waiting for the nerves to connect" I think good fucking luck. I don't think that shit ever heals permanently, and I just had a big pus pocket drained and a titanium plate put in, not a whole area flayed and sliced and Frankensteined into a horror.
