New York City would stop a huge percentage of its violent crime if they just allowed the NYPD to do their job and patrol the subway regularly. But that's "racist" because most of the people who commit crimes are not white.
New York City used to do Stop and Frisk regularly, especially outside of subways. Not surprisingly, crime went down drastically when it was in effect. But also unsurprisingly, niggers and libertarian faggots complained because ~90% of the people stopped were black and Latino compared to the 54% of NYCs population being that. They said this was profiling because only 75% of those arrested from Stop and Frisk were niggers/spics. Which to me just shows that there was more likely than not probable cause to stop these people. Now them stopping stop and frisk combined with them releasing felonies without bail has sent their crime rate through the roof. Of course, the activist academics said "it didn't reduce crime" because... only a few of the stops led to arrests. Which is the stupidest logic. It was also criticized because supposedly areas with stop and frisk had lower property values... which is hilarious that that is a criticism from the left since New York City property is famously overvalued and they love to say this is mainly because they hate poor people (when in fact it's caused by stupid policies and taxes)

I have so many questions. Why is the officer casually walking by without doing anything? Why is he so calm? Is she still asleep while she's on fire? If the culprit is sitting RIGHT THERE, why does no one do anything to apprehend him? Are there no fire extinguishers? Why did the culprit sit down and watch after setting her on fire?

First off, NYPD, like most police departments in leftist run cities, are neutered and often can't do anything lest they risk a lawsuit (see Daniel Penny). Second, he was the officer assigned to watch the scene to make sure it wasn't interfered with while other officers went to get fire extinguishers. There really isn't much he can do without a fire extinguisher.
