You'll still find retro games for decent prices. Though it's comparable to that of buying Vinyl records. Some cost as little as a dollar, other cost around a thousand dollars.

If the worst showcase of littering in japan is one image, taken on a major street right after a festival where people are getting to retard levels of drunk, versus how a lot of US cities look on the regular, it still seems like their standards are far higher. I don't doubt they've still got a problem especially with the sheer amount of single use plastic items they manufacture, but they take care of it a lot quicker and keep things up. And they aren't afraid to just incinerate trash. Not that I'd imagine there's even enough space for most cities to build landfills, or that they'd be able to handle their population.
