I mean. Mental health diagnoses exist mainly for billing purposes. Scientifically, there isn't a lot of difference between different kinds of interpersonal problems and emotional dysregulation issues due to trauma.

Women with BPD symptoms are more likely than men with BPD symptoms to be diagnosed with the disorder, and I do think there is a social perception of it as being predominantly a female thing when that is indeed not true. However, in this current age where therapists advertise themselves as kink-friendly and ask your pronouns, I really doubt people are diagnosing people with BPD just because they are women.

Regardless, Zack is weirdly committed to DIY medications and I'm not sure if that has changed or if his Lexapro prescription is legit. I doubt he'll ever be willing to get a real psych evaluation. If the psychiatrist says anything other than "you are a very special woman and your only problem is that you have always been so much smarter and better than everyone else" he's just going to rage that it's transphobia.

Two teenage brothers have been missing for over a week in California after one of their kayaks flipped during a duck hunting trip.

Wesley and Andruw Cornett, 17 and 19 respectively, were last heard from on December 14 during their trip to Thermalito Afterbay in Butte County. On Monday, authorities announced that they were scaling back searches.



According to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, 911 dispatch received a call from Andruw around 8:30 a.m. on the day of the incident, saying that his brother’s kayak had overturned.

He told officers he was going to jump in to save his brother after being advised “multiple times” not to get in the water. Neither boy was wearing a life jacket.
