And that's fair, but Trump can be swayed by the base, so having people who may have Vance's ear blowing up twitter about it may actually influence Trump's views. And again, Stephen Miller is anti-illegal and legal immigration and he's the immigration guy. And Trump does A/B testing by saying things and seeing the reaction and also is sometimes just setting up negotiation terms. I will once again highly recommend people get Art of the Deal and read it, a lot of insight into how Trump does things.

I think the important aspect is that though some are doompilling, this outrage is necessary to send a message to Elon that despite his platform being one of the decisive factors in the election, there is a line to the consent he can manufacture in the name of his ends. I predict Homan and Miller will be excellent at what they do (at least making a solid effort), but episodes like this are necessary to shake out the dirt and prevent what happened with the retards of the last administration like Bolton before it happens. Those that we can afford to change can be changed, I don't think doompilling on Vance is productive however
