Cruises are shit especially out of the US and especially out of the south.
Carnival is the worst of all, it's the cheapest and most ghetto. It's the spirit airlines of the cruise industry and contributed to the overall decline in a sea travel. Just look at who started it (hint: early life).

They are basically all inclusive resorts with the all inclusive crowd who think since everything is "Free" then they need to induldge. Most of these ships have buffets and it's a sea of the most subhuman disgusting people you'll ever see. Think of Walmart but in flip flops and swim suits.

This jogger was asked to turn his music down and instead opted to initiate an altercation with security.

7:14 - “At the nightclub there was almost a fight as well.” You don’t SAY! But everyone looks so CLASSY and WELL-BEHAVED!

7:23 - “There was an actual fight on the last night of the cruise.” It was over a man. The natural conclusion to the Sheboon Carnival Cruising For Discounted Dick Convention, of course.

7:55 - Too many announcements on board. Our host has no idea why a floating nightclub/dispensary filled with black people might have decided it wasn’t worth the effort to encourage its patrons to read a printed schedule and instead simply yell on the PA whenever it’s time for Bingo with Bongos or Twerking at Karaoke Machines.

8:43 - Two ports of call on this cruise. First up is some corporate owned Carnival island. Our host did not enjoy this port because, in his own words, “there were no crazy slides or jet skis.” Beautiful tropical scenery can go fuck itself in the coconut hole because he was BOOOOORED. Where is the ENTERTAAAAIIIINNMEEENT.

10:04 - Onboard entertainment next. “Production value just isn’t really there.” Please remember he claims to have paid $11 a day for this.

11:08 - “When it comes to the comedian…” Comedian was “higher than a kite.” Dropped the gamer word all over the place and had no punchlines at the end of his vulgar rants.

He says he’d do the cruise again because he went into it expecting things to “pop off” so he wasn’t shocked by the typical negro shenanigans aboard the ship. Civilized viewers the world over should heed his inadvertent warnings and avoid this cruise.

Time for some pedantry: that’s a cotton picker, not a combine. Cotton pickers are only good for cotton because the back of the machine is a giant bailer for the harvested cotton (making round bales of cotton is a weirdly modern concept, and contributes a lot towards John Deere’s domination in cotton pickers). Combines are machines that combine harvesting and threshing, making them capable of harvesting any grain with as little as a head change.

He is, by all accounts, an upstanding citizen: he served 18 years in the United States Coast Guard before joining the GPD and was an active reservist. “He would come back and help during his free time because he loved it so much,” one of his close friends said. A North Carolina man has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a police officer who was responding to a report of a man with a gun in a supermarket, authorities announced Tuesday. Tarell Isaac McMillian, 34, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Greensboro Police Officer Michael Horan in a Food Lion on Monday, Greensboro Police said in a news release. He was being held without bond. Horan was responding to the report when he was shot shortly before midday at a Food Lion store in Greensboro. Authorities said Monday afternoon that the circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the state's lead law enforcement agency, is continuing the investigation.

Not about blacks, but you may enjoy Don't Sleep, There Are Snakes, about an indigenous tribe along the Amazon. The author is pretty retarded, since he went to learn their language and translate the bible to convert them to Christianity, but ended up thinking that these people really had things figured out and subsequently became an atheist. Nonetheless, the book is hilarious and it's incredible to realize how far these people were from anything resembling a civilization. Makes you appreciate what the early colonizers must have thought when they encountered similar stone age level tribes. Personal favorite was a riverboat driver who was confused about why the author was going to all that trouble, because he regarded the tribe as just part of the local flora and fauna, and compared them to the monkeys that live in the forest. This was deeply offensive to the author.

Laziness and an inability to build. I believe the prior context is that they had traded a piece of paper with a trading post, detailing work that they had done, for goods; they obviously saw this as some kind of magical sheet of paper that compelled others to give them things, instead of a reciept of services. It's nice to read literature from a few hundred years ago. Well travelled European writers took it for granted that readers should know the races are different and usually made earnest attempts to understand and explain those differences. Yes, they were sometimes disparaging but often complimentary, and in any case, what's wrong with disparagement? If anything, their Christian universalist ideals probably inspired them to write kinder reviews than their subjects deserved. I mean what were they supposed to write?
