I just refreshed my ”For You“ feed on Twitter and all of the anti-H1B tweets disappeared.I hope everyone can read between the lines. Expect major crackdowns of anything not in line with the techbros.

Anyone who has control of the flow of information is not to be trustworthy.I just refreshed my ”For You“ feed on Twitter and all of the anti-H1B tweets disappeared.
So much for free speech.
Not to sound like a libertarian (or a dumbass,) but how would you offset a decent wage for your farmers without upping the price of your goods? McDonald's tried that with increasing minimum wage, now a $5 meal is double the price at the same quality. We will, but not for literal slave wages. They could get people to work at the apple orchards and warehouses in my parents' neck of the woods, no problem. You'd have all kinds of farm kinds crawling over themselves to do that work, cause you'd be out in the orchards or in a climate controlled factory floor doing boring repetitive work but you'd be getting paid to do shit your family would want you doing well later on in life.
Again, good luck trying to convince an American company to make everyday items like socks, underwear, sneakers in a mass capacity now without worrying about labor laws, taxes and increased cost of living.they couldn't make it because global standards means we have to compete with fucking China, Vietnam, India, etc for who will do the most work for the least pay. China can make socks 6 for a dollar and still make profit, because if the 5 year old making the socks stops they shoot her and get another one.
SpaceX is required to only hire American citizens due to ITAR, he gets around that with SpaceX's reputation and only hiring recent graduates. Tesla would be a better example. If you want to see why Elon Musk can't find all the engineers he wants, just look at SpaceX salaries on Glassdoor or anywhere else. Pay is a little above average, but not an 80 hrs/wk motivator.
Pretty much, those are the lefties that's occupy spaces where they aren't welcome and try and fit in by acting like Trump isn't right wing enough. People like @Sayer of the N-Word and @⠠⠠⠅⠑⠋⠋⠁⠇⠎ ⠠⠠⠊⠎ ⠠⠠⠁ ⠠⠠⠋⠁⠛
Libertarians who are not anarchists and who believe in more human rights than the basic property rights are all posers. But he won't do that, because at the end of the day, when "libertarians" get rich enough, rather than actually negotiate prices in their market, they want the government to change the laws so they can take advantage of cheap labor from shithole countries.
He was never "right-wing" at all. He was a liberal Democrat during his NYC days. Take that what you will.I don't think Trump isn't right wing enough, whatever that means.
Too bad Vivek will never respond.
Trump is not Hitler, no. Stop bitching.I don't think Trump isn't right wing enough, whatever that means. He pops off with ideas that are all over the place, and because he isn't very well educated in these matters he sometimes goes against Republican orthodoxy, which is great, but it doesn't matter at all because he isn't any good at screening out the swamp creatures he claims to detest, so whenever he crosses some red line an aide comes out and says he didn't really mean that and he is 100% in agreement with Mitch McConnell and Sean Hannity.
Just tell him you have a $50 target gift cardToo bad Vivek will never respond.
I wouldn't offset the wage vs the price of the goods. Our current system is being held in place via incentives. People are incentivized to move manufacturing over to China and the resultant products back over here, or what have you. Remove the incentives and things will collapse -- they will collapse anyway, this will just be a different cause and effect -- and the result will be American made products from American made factories hiring American workers selling to Americans. Not to sound like a libertarian (or a dumbass,) but how would you offset a decent wage for your farmers without upping the price of your goods? McDonald's tried that with increasing minimum wage, now a $5 meal is double the price at the same quality.

Closest answer I would think of is to increase the value of the American dollar so that even menial labor jobs can support you enough for an apartment at a decent neighborhood. If a massive corporation would cut corners with slave labor, incentive them to NOT work under the table or punish them accordingly.
When I first heard Vivek talk, my first impression was "He sure knows how to talk the talk. But let's see him walk the walk..."Vivek says that we need to import Indians because Americans watch too much TV:
Kinda like a Brahmin caste Pajeet. When I first heard Vivek talk, my first impression was "He sure knows how to talk the talk. But let's see him walk the walk..."
Glad I never took a liking to that alien looking fuck. He was way too good at saying the right things... kinda like a con man.
