Never played Omori but it gave me that vibe, as for F&H yeah it's f i l t e r e d - The Game for anyone who isn't willing to fail over and over until they understand the basics.I tried to play Fear & Hunger 1, couldn't make past the intro. I don't know what to do when everything can easily kill me (and I'm dead when the dogs caught me), there's hardly any food, no medkits. It's one of those game that gave me DSP moments. and I don't know why everyone worship Omori, it's pretty boring and artsy fartsy to me. It's just as pretentious as Undertale.
>SuperFagWolfCheck out this analysis/guide for the game - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRIkWHo1SJY
I mean, if it helps, but there are better and shorter guides. I recommend Frapollo's short video on starting options to, uh, start. He also makes specific guides for practically every part of the game. It's actually one of the few games I recommend watching at least the beginning of a walkthrough to try and understand the basics, as jumping right in can be frustrating (which is the point).
Case and point, you have to be really fucking autistic to blindly bash your head against the wall that is this game without at least some tools.do what the fanbase did and use a guide AND then waste slightly less hours chipping at the game.
Then praise the game for being really challenging but fair.
The fun thing about incredibly difficult games is that what you can abuse to high hell is fair to anyone who isn't a massive faggot, the average person's "fair" can be summarized by the following.fair.

Melee is still king, even before the magic nerf.

The hardest part of Fear and Hunger is when you have to enter the radioactive Ghoul-zone that is the community and interact with it in the slightest, just read guides, read the lore if you want, do whatever you need to and fucking and run. Adding a tranny and a cripple really made everything 100x worse in the hellhole that is the fucking community.
