I talked to someone working in a tech company who says they're not allowed to directly recruit talented people they know of in their field, like 10 years ago they could but policies changed and now all new hires must come from HR. I had a friend who wanted to refer me for a job at a pretty big company and when he couldn't find out how to do it, he asked HR and they told him they have to post a job listing and after it's up for 1 week an existing employee can submit the formal referral. It's so backwards it's obviously designed that way on purpose.

Inshallah we must do the needful and set off a suitcase nuke in Delhi, causing them and Pakistan to nuke each other. Then in the aftermath everyone else with nukes will finish off the wreckage. It would be such a step towards world peace that I'd even stop hating the French for a month or two.

I'm not surprised he's silent. If he speaks his mind and sides with one group, the other will call him all sorts of evil names and side with the opposition. Everything his party has gained could easily be lost. So it's best for him to stay quiet until he's enthroned, then he can ditch whichever side he wants to ditch.

Not really. All he loses are a bunch of hillbillies who are so insecure over their work prospects their only move is to kick the competition out of the labor market. Which doesn't really help, since companies can always hire people overseas if immigrants are kicked out. If Trump picks the "America First" side, he doesn't profit at all, and many of his rich friends will be yelling down his ears about lost profits. He's not going to be welcome to their country club gatherings anymore.

Meanwhile, if Trump picks Team TechBros, he gets tons of cheap labor which saves money, and tons of donations from happy businessmen who saved money.

Like I said, expecting Trump to not be pro-immigrant is ignoring the fact that his class benefits from immigrants, legal or otherwise.

Last I checked, Trump's wrath was reserved for illegal immigration; he was always for legal immigration, and only the far right have been espousing a total lockdown on immigration as a whole. The far right which Trump strung on by virtue of being closer to the right than the Democrats. But at the end of the day, he is a "New York Republican", making him closer to the Left than the likes of Rick Santorum or George Bush II.

Trump has always been not as right-wing as some people make him out to be but it is intriguing to potentially see him go from being against foreign work visas in his first term and being for them in his upcoming second.

friend of mine runs a maintenance company and only hires white people and Puerto ricans and he says the worst clients that he always drops are the Indian apartment complex owners.
If you're wondering how people from third world countries by apartment complexes mainly fraud.
I fully support confiscation of all apartment complexes owned by foreign investors and also owned by any boomer.

Here's the thing white people black people and people were descendants of people who built this country living off welfare is not a big issue with me simply due to the fact that their families contributed at one point to this country's development some people fall on hard times and I have more sympathy for my fellow countrymen than some low IQ Mexican Guatemalan or Indian jumping over the border a nation is made-up of people you wanna be self-centered that's fine.

America was never built on this individualist mantra E pluribus unum” for many comes one that's referring to every part of the nation standing together.

I love all the boomers talking about the investments and all these other things you should invest in your fellow countrymen you should invest in your families you should invest in your church caring about all this money you've made well as one of my priests said all the money in the world can't buy you an air conditioner in hell.
