Has been faking cancer, getting caught, deleting everything, and rising from the ashes for fifteen years now. Started her munchie journey as a child faking retarded to get out of schoolwork followed by walking with a hunch when her SPED program tried to make her learn job skills as a teenager. Got a full spinal fusion at 16 despite some of the best children's hospitals in the country letting her family know the hunch was faked. Started faking a gait abnormality and muscular dystrophy after that. Moved on to claiming she had terminal cancer in 2009 and has had at least 8 separate cancer faking incidents in the 15 yearssince. Got a second fusion surgery in 2016 which let her get her germy little hands on a fresh incision, has been keeping it infected ever since. was told by multiple surgeons she had to increase her protein if she wanted the back surgery she needs to save her life, responded by completely eliminating protein from her diet. Went for a brisknature walk the same day she went to pick up her $50,000 top-of-the-line standing wheelchair. Her family is "abusive" because they keep blowing up her lies. Lives in a group home for people with learning and emotional/behavioral disabilities.

So this is a case where I was just in the right space at the right time. I meant to look into Andie during her covid-era peak but I ended up taking a pretty prolonged posting break. then I totally forgot about her and only found her again in March 2024 when i was working my way through Tricia's tiktok account. I started posting her on April 27. Unbeknownst to me she was in the process of getting together a malpractice suit against the neurosurgeon who removed her lumbar hardware, which she had briefly hinted she might do after a retained wound vac sponge was found in her back two years after surgery. The complaint was served in the middle of me posing about her. In the aftermath she very quickly deleted a whole shitload of incriminating evidence off her instagram including her latest cancer scam, the posts she made about this guy where she blames him for her problems, all explicit mentions of muscular dystrophy or dysphagia, all mentions of her eating disorder and that she cut protein out of her diet when she was told to increase it, several posts about her housemate punching her in the back, that her home health fired her for noncompliance leaving her with her stinking, festering wounds being left in the same bandages for much longer than they should be, and posts about her group home trying to kick her out because that they knew she was full of shit and didn't need to be in a home with a bunch of non-verbal autistic and Downs Syndrome adults who actually need the support and she was freaking out that they wouldn't give her a female staff member to wash her ass for her. Because I'd already archived all of that content I was able to make a post showing
exactly what she scrubbed. It was very cathartic at the time but now I'm thinking of my dumb drunk forum postings being involved in a lolsuit and I'm questioning my choices. So I'd like to repeat for anyone doing investigative work that I don't know Andrea Proskus, I've never met her, never contacted her, don't have any real connections to her, and don't even follow her on social media. Everything I found was online and public at the time I started posting about her.
She was gone until July with only a few reddit posts to let me know she was still on this side of the dirt. She was gone long enough that people thought she actually kicked the bucket this time only to resume exactly as she had before her break. This caption was edited in September. I wasn't paying much attention to her this summer but it looks like it was something about her inability to find home health willing to deal with her and how without that she's basically being forced into hospice which is what she was claiming prior to her break.
I DO wake up every day thrilled that I am not a malignant tumor on society keeping myself sick so everyone will have to treat me like a child forever, thank you.
A reminder that she actually tested into "Resource" which in most schools is leg-up classes for people who just need a little extra help or ESL kids who are fully capable of learning the material but whose language barrier keeps them from reaching their potential. She did this in the context of moving from a different state with vastly lower education standards than the one she moved to and i've gotten the impression they did not think she had a disability at all but was just behind her peers and could stand some woodshedding of math and language skills. From her very young age she realized she could play up her helplessness to get the adults to let her play and eat candy instead of doing school work and there's plenty of evidence in her own posts that her school knew this is what was happening but felt unable to do anything about it. Her family chimped and used the mainstream media as a cudgel when they tried to suggest she was capable of doing much more. Over the course of middle-high school she went from mild disabilities to being in the lowest level of life skill classes where she learned to recite her address in case she escaped her wranglers back up to being frog-marched almost to mainstream levels before the spinal fusion and an "anti-bullying" campaign she led against the school let her slide back to Shoe Tying 101. by the time she hit 18 there was nothing to do but graduate her as a SPED who malingered her way out of academics and hope she could learn some skills to help her survive the real world.

I made a point that she kept claiming she was shadowbanned but what actually happened was she got caught faking cancer and deleted a bunch of content and blocked people who brought it up, something the god-algorithm doesn't love. I'm sure some adults figured it out and quietly stopped watching, but the bulk of her viewer loss seems to have just been because her audience skewed so young. Nine year olds aren't known for caring about things for particularly long, and her peak was when they were home during the pandemic isolated from all their peers. Most of the accounts I checked out that were following her in 2020-21 seemed like they were completely abandoned when schools started to reopen.

i am willing to believe that the cervical fusion from 2016 did just genuinely fail. The new hardware was fused to the existing hardware and that was the point of failure. I talked to a bunch of people with spinal fusions or who work with people who have had them and all of them said this is not an uncommon occurrence. same with the infection.
This article estimates the rate of infection for those fuckers is between 2-20% and while I joke that she got her grimy hands on it, the incision looks like it healed just fine after the surgery. But I think once those things happened she did everything in her power to make sure she never healed

She turns 32 despite her best efforts.
They're now using flagyl and vashe wound cleanser to try to cut down on the fact that her open pus-pits make her smell like rotten flesh. Like everything else she claims this won't actually control the infection, only the odor.

The women in this series of photos were from Best Buddies (a group that pairs people with major intellectual disabilities like Down Syndrome with non-disabled peers for social outings), Every Body Athletics (a fitness and sports club for people with major intellectual disabilities), She Runs This Town (a running club for women whose members adopted her as a "daughter" until she lied about having terminal cancer and needing a transplant to survive), and the daughter of one of her home health nurses who basically scammed the taxpayers of Oregon by encouraging Andie to blow her disability checks on insanely expensive luxury skincare events and products (I'm talking $500 eye creams). That last one's real fun to ponder if you believe Andie's story that she's so intellectually disabled she doesn't understand money
You really don't need to keep proving to me that you read my posts. She has repeatedly said that the reason she can't get the surgery she needs to survive is her pre-albumin is too low and that she was told she has to get this to a normal range. Then she bragged about how little protein she was eating while giving us periodic updates on how low she got her prealbumin this time. it's just too darn hard to eat with her dysphagia and anorexia! And yeah she's been told to get a feeding tube but that's her decision and fuck you i don't wanna, I'm just going to demand sympathy for never getting better.
First we get the first proof that the muscle biopsy happened. No proof it showed anything but this is the first time I've seen her actually show the incision. We learn her family was getting paid to be her carers but she wanted them to wait on her hand and foot and they knew she could do things on her own. For example the wheelchair was kept at school with no way to transport it home and her bedroom was up a set of spiral stairs, so they all knew she could walk just fine. Her SpED teachers making fun of her was after the fusion she came back to school taking these comically tiny shuffling steps and she even posted a video of the PT trying to gently let her family know this was an act. Makes a lot more sense that her family went along with it if you consider they were getting payments because of it.
Noodle the dog suffered a cardiac arrest at age 16 and had to be put down. RIP gentle mutt.

Noodle didn't live with Andie because of her group home's rules. She grew up with Andie and I'm not discounting that grief because Andie was at her parents' house nearly every day for years after she moved out. And I don't think that grief can't be very profound especially if the pet has been part of your life for almost two decades. My dogs are my life, my best friends, my constant companions, and you bet your ass I am devastated when it's finally their time. But Andie, as usual, is using it as her latest excuse for why she can't get better. Noodle was the only thing that convinced her to eat and now that she's gone there's no point. Magic dog convinced her not to purge so many times. Andie has never talked about purging before although her janky front teeth have made me wonder.
Apparently her family does not want a new dog.
The latest version of how she got diagnosed, claiming she went two years without a diagnosis. No, by her own timeline it was months between when the hunch started and when her family hooked her up with a compliant surgeon. The shriner's story is she acted like her back was in a fixed position and nothing including back braces could straighten it so they put her under anesthesia and watched it straighten out then hunch back over when she regained awareness. If it was a muscle weakness problem the brace would have at least un-hunched her because she'd be floppy.
Still whining that her parents aren't intending on getting another dog they have to feed, walk, and pay for the vet bills of.
You knew where this was going. Her plan to get around the dog ban at her home is to claim her new dog is a service dog. And she wants it despite not being able to care for herself, being in 9/10 pain, being adjustably terminal and considering hospice, and having no money.
Ah yes the standing wheelchair she got on the same day she went for a nice little nature walk on the Fanno Creek Trail as she did every day.
Good news now she scammed a charity for a $10,000 medical grade adjustable bed. Shame they couldn't also give her a van she can't use because she can't drive and her group home staff are under no obligation to ferry her around in her personal vehicle. Of course she went for the biggest option they had and she's still angry they didn't let her know there was a better mattress option she could have gotten. She determined she desperately needs it!
Things Andie can do: feed goats at a farm where she admits accessibility "can be challenging." I like that she tried to crop out that she's not using her wheelchair in these, and hide that she went with her terrible abusive mom.

If you've been following Andie's saga then you know in one of her cancer faking scams in 2017 she was caught shaving/pulling only the front and sides of her hair and hiding the rest under a cap and it's one of the things that made her audience turn on her. Here's more proof that was true.
People also called her out for not losing her brows and suddenly she had the chrome dome and drawn-on brows but you can still see the five o'clock shadow from her shaving it.
She poses with this bottle of protein drink and feigns being so afraid to drink it but forcing it down anyway because we don't know how hard she's trying to get better. But look at the liquid in that straw around the 13 second mark. That's just water. Sometimes I wonder if it hurts to be this bad at everything.
just your periodic reminder that her "friends" bail because once she has them on the hook she escalates to claims of having cancer and being terminal, every time without fail, and they only leave when she does something like claim she's in a coma or in the ICU then get caught walking around town. Also the public is under no obligation to hear you talk about how you're dying 24/7 for years. Just, it's how it goes. She's learning the Paige lesson: if you're always getting worse, always having a new emergency, always saying this is really the end and you're entering hospice, people get exhausted of hearing it. There's no point cheering for you to get better because even if you do you'll claim you didn't. It's why girls like Tricia break up their dire "this is the end!" sequences with periods where they're doing happy dances and checking off their bucket list.

Hope you had a good thanksgiving, my day was awful. This post is about how mommy is mean and cruel and made her late for her appointments then smacked her in the face and played the victim. We've all seen the video clips Andie posts of her mom's "abuse" where it's clear she's the instigator, every time. Sometimes she baits mom into fighting her. other times she acts friendly and gets mom to drop her guard and play along only to turn on her in an instant. One person on Reddit posted that a long deleted video showed Andie having an absolute meltdown trying to hit her mom and her mom trying to stop herself from being hit by grabbing Andie's wrist, but Andie claimed it was proof her mother was physically abusing her. Anyway in this case the police are called and Andie's mom explained what happened, that Andie was fucking around and making mom late to her
own appointments. Andie's pulled aside separately to make sure she's okay but she's just so gosh darned afraid and brainwashed she can't lie to the police about being seriously abused by her mother. The real reason, of course, is that if she gets any kind of protection order in place she won't be able to call mommy every single day to cart her around to starbucks, all her medical appointments, and where ever else she feels like going. Again repeats the group home should be doing much more for her but won't, because she constantly gives away that she doesn't need a designated ass-wiper.
Oh and her mom? She's hinted her mom has health problems but never said what. I figured it was something real serious when I saw how bruised up her arms were and because there's a tiny glimpse of her in one of Andie's pics where she looks decades older than she did a year ago. Turns out she's in kidney failure and waiting on a transplant.
Still, just days later she's walking the fanno Creek trail, sucking back Starbies and going to the movies again implying mommy is still picking her up all the time and taking her where ever the fuck she wants to go.

People comment on her looks because she makes herself look grotesque. There's women who are bald from cancer or alopecia totalis or who just out of sheer preference shave their heads. They might get the odd mean comment from a stranger or a kid asking where their hair is. But Andie goes out of her way to look comment-worthy. Like Rose and Jessica Riley and Becca Doss, she wants the negative attention dressing and conducting herself a certain way gives her. The droopy eyes, shaved head, bad makeup, childlike clothing, it's all to elicit a response so they can cry victim again. Also her hair is still growing back in just fine.
Another mainstream journo scum has repeated her lies and let her use this stupid sock drive as a shield without even the most cursory of research which would tell them she fucking fakes cancer. Forget the muscular dystrophy claims, I had a hard time proving for certain that she doesn't have that. A very quick search of her name will bring up people all over the internet talking about how she faked cancer. And they get paid for this. Here I am doing the heavy lifting for free.
Her parents got this impossibly cute little dog named Archie last week. Thank god in heaven he is not going to be her service dog and can't live with her.

Andie's birthday is August 20, 1992, so this is mom on the phone handling some important affair for Andie because Andie refuses to do so herself. Then she and her mom sit on the couch and laugh at the dog playing. Such abuse! Will the horrors never end?
Now mommy is wonderful and comes over to do funtime Hannukah celebrations with her. She's just too sick to help her poor little darling Andie wash her vagina, and the group home are the abusive monsters. When she complains that they aren't washing her vagina for her they tell her "okay find someplace else to live." they also raised her rent to $800 which in the city I live in might get you a decent sized studio in an okay neighborhood or a one bedroom in a shitty one but I understand Portland is like, jaw-droppingly expensive. We saw with Grace Harestad when she moved out of her parents' place into her own apartment, it was literally a single room on the ground floor of a house that couldn't have been more than 300 feet and she was paying some ridiculous amount of rent for it. Guess it's not such a great idea to be burning all your bridges huh?
