X is a big mover for public opinion, donors have money, and he's got the midterms to consider. Consider his plans are very ambitious and require a lot of political capital and public energy. And he wants to cement his accomplishments (rather than have them undone by a democrat successor like last time) so he needs to get Vance elected. Trump has to be prudent in how he handles the donors.

Trump handled this really well. Clearly had some sort of talk. Behind the scenes. Plausible deniabilty. Let's them keep up the public front of being best buds. I really expected nothing less

That’s the funny part. It was never actually meant to be a long term business strategy. No need to train American workers when you can nickel and dime their consumer dollars for an inferior product.

There’s a science fiction story. I forgot what it’s called but the premise is man encounters an alien species that can perfectly replicate any manufacturable thing, a sonnet, computer, flower, you name it can make it. The humans form a dependency upon these creatures but as time goes on they become increasingly sick. Not from a disease, but from the quality of object itself. It’s a vicious ouroboros of self-replication until eventually most of them die off. The last few humans remaining must start again from scratch carving wooden spoons and cups from whatever natural resources weren’t depleted.

I think there’s a moral or something in that story. I don’t know, I’m retarded.

Counterpoint, doesn't Italy have some of the best food in the world? As far as I know they treat their women relatively well. Also, France, but they lose points for eating snails and frog legs. On the flipside, how does the food from most Islamic countries fare?

I think you guys got like a hundred inches or something fucking ridiculous a few days before I flew in. The conditions were incredible but I had to be pretty aware for avalanche conditions.

And yes, we actually just had some pretty crazy wildfires in Jersey of all places. No rain for over a month. Europeans are always thrown off by the amount of different climates in the US. We have some serious weather.

Italian men are completely dependant on their woman. There are support groups dedicated to teaching widowed men to do tasks like cooking and cleaning because they never learned how their entire life.
