Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Not despite having all of the above, but because of having all of the above. You see, america prospers while closing up factories and cutting jobs! America is all powerful while driving away specialists and promoting retards in the army and gloworgs. America is the most organized country ever when burning 4000 trillion tons of petrolium delivering cheap shit china goods across the continent on trucks over shitty country roads. China does the opposite, so it must be not prospering, powerful or organized. Maybe even spiraling!!!
China also doesn’t have what America does in the form of trillions and trillions of dollars of unfunded liabilities. Hundreds of trillions of them. Medicare, SS, veteran pensions, employers pensions. And those debts are only growing.

Around 2030, an average American family will be on the hook for 400.000$ a year of unfounded debts per year, and that’s even before all the usual government stuff is paid for.

Ron Paul and others tried to warn about it back in the 2000’s, when something could still be done. By now? It’s far too late. The whole system will come crashing down.

And if you think division in the US is bad now, just wait till every single retiree is told that they won’t get their SS anymore. And it’ll basically be every group for themselves.

It's pretty stark when you compare China to basically any nation with a welfare state in terms of expected government expenditures by category. While other countries are paying for healthcare, the Chinese are subsidizing industries and trying to run the rest of the world out of business. They're taking the amazon approach to international commerce.

All that said, I think Russia also has issues with an aging population that will be expecting their pensions when they retire. It's a non-trivial problem that's probably going to get answered with a quiet "go fuck yourselves." The Russian state is already racking up a massive bill with the Ukraine war. All those highly paid volunteer soldiers will expect to get paid. Somehow, I doubt they'll accept company scrip or an IOU.

And it is Joever.

French wench fucked off

Last I heard in the usual spaces (Not just the other thread here), they were claiming:
  • The normal "Russia is out of troops/ammo/supplies/money/ect" nonsense.
  • Ukraine took out most of the North Korean Troops in a huge missile strike and the rest are now defecting/fleeing
  • Chechens and North Koreans are fighting and killing each other within the Russian forces.
  • Russia is desperately sending "Meat waves" into Kursk but are unable to do anything against the Ukranian forces
  • Ukranian special forces helped the Syrian Rebels beat Assads forces and kill his Spetznaz bodyguards.
It ranges from "Usual propaganda bullshit" to "Deranged cope fanfiction"
Funny how Russia has been out of basically everything ever since the war began and yet this magical turn around on the frontlines that they have been predicting never seems to happen. It's always "Once Ukraine gets F-16s it's OVER for Russia" and yet somehow it never is.

I've read an economic article in the Economist or Financial time whose entire summary was just that. China's economic strategy is bad because that's not what the West does. I'll see if I can dig it up

They lay down what other countries are doing, note that it isn't what China is doing and conclude that therefore its flawed.

Ukraine and NATO have a PR strategy rather than a military strategy and that's why NATO dogs keep barking but the Russian bear keeps advancing.
It's a PR strategy that exists solely to keep the gibs flowing and make the war continue. The latest astroturfed meme is that Russia is depleting its reserves of tanks , a talking point that - coming just as a new administration that's skeptical of the continued proxy war is about to assume office - exists solely to try to promote the idea that Ukraine is just around the corner from winning or at least permanently crippling Russia, so keep the arms and money flowing (no, you can't ask exactly where it all goes).

The propaganda in this war has been absolutely crazy, and what's crazier is that so many people actually buy it without any doubts or questions of validity. Going by what the media has been saying, Russia has been waging this war with Ukraine in a "Tom & Jerry" or "Coyote Vs Roadrunner" type of comical dynamic.

You have Roadrunner Ukraine that is apparently literally ALWAYS winning, succeeding, wiping out scores of Russians without ever breaking a sweat, launching countless successful operations, never facing any defeat or failure. Then you have Russia portrayed as the clumsy Coyote, always failing, using shovels instead of rifles, no ammo, using ancient weapons from 18th century, always sabotaging itself, defecting, fleeing, retreating.

I mean, come on... The propaganda is so transparent, it's clear they are doing a morale psyop. They want to pump up western boys as much as possible, to see Russians as subhuman (orc jokes), and to not fear the "clumsy" enemy. This would guarantee a huge voluntary turnout if war ever escalated into a global affair.
It's really eye opening how the WW3 propaganda game will look, and how the internet and mass media will be used. I must say, being in the anglosphere, the control that the media has on the public is staggering. I can only imagine it is similar on the Russian side.

Questioning any of this propaganda immediately has you labeled as a Russian bot.

But you know, Americans don't put a high value on quality education anymore so its no surprise.
I have my own criticisms of the Prussian model of public education, but the United States is uniquely awful in both the quality of its curriculum and the safety and upkeep of its facilities.

If the foundation of any nation is the education of its youth, then we're doing a pretty terrible job overall.

They lay down what other countries are doing, note that it isn't what China is doing and conclude that therefore its flawed.
gonna get a little off-topic and MATI for a minute but I have a bone to pick with the economist. We keep getting gifted a yearly subscription by a boomer relative. From everything I've heard and from what I've read most of their economics-centric articles are solid - or at least to someone who's pretty clueless when it comes to that stuff - but the second they start writing about foreign policy or even worse American politics is when they go full pants-on-head retarded. As expected of a British publication I suppose. Infamously they had to retract an article that pinned Ben Shapiro as the ringleader of the neo-Nazi resurgence in the US (don't have the archive on hand but I remember it clearly around 2018-2019). Just patently fucking stupid.

Basically what I'm getting at is that it always seemed to me that their intense hatred for anything even slightly right of the American center or Chinese taints much of their articles, at least whenever I read them that's my impression. Maybe it's just due to my eternal Anglo hatred, I dunno, I'm just salty that I have to wake up every week and find this shit on my dining room table. If someone who actually likes the Economist can explain what's good about it I'm open to changing my mind, but I've always read their stuff and thought it was inane.

edit: mixed up left and right like the moron I am
