Man imagine getting publicly shit on, talked down upon only to go back by dropping money on the same person.
Honestly this dents deserve what they get and you should never feel pity for them.
Once a dent, always a dent. I remember hearing about how TimboSlice was giving Phil money while going through bankruptcy TWICE! It just shows that they have some weird parasocial relationship with Phil, even when Phil has mentioned before, that his fans are "not friends". Also, Phil doesn't have time for friends, as he works six days a week full-time, and that his only kind of social interaction is with his laptop. I remember Craig and Adam looking at Phil during the Sidescrollers interview like "Uh, Phil. That's not exactly healthy."
I don't trust a dent when they say that they are "done with Phil." I know there were former fans of his turned detractors, but as far as I know of, they never gave Phil money. I know people like WarDogLeader who tried to give Phil advice, and how he lost his brother, and how to go back to some form of normalcy, while Phil went scorched Earth - which is his policy when it comes to anyone giving him a piece of advice or if you're not kissing his ass the way he likes it kissed - or, some that just walk away like StraightCashHomie after dumping thousands of dollars to become a mod and eventually bounce, or PlanetJeff giving him money and eventually finding out his wife was still alive, however, there was another fan that did give him money that he got from his dead wife's life insurance policy, etc....
One thing I have seen is that Phil's fan base are either socially retarded just like Phil, on the autisim spectrum, or the Derich creepy level type. Also, what the dents have now realized is that Phil can be trained like a circus seal a la King Tut, if you give him enough money. Remember the times where King Tut would tell Phil "I wish you would play Street Fighter 5 tonight, Phil." and he would DROP whatever game he was playing during that time, in the hopes of getting that dude's money, along with going "I hope King Tut shows up tonight."
Also, let's not forget that Phil attracts the known racists, also. I remember Fred Flintstone tipping Phil $14.88 and his whole chat starting doing the AB chant, someone mentioned that 1488 has racist connections, Phil smiled and giggled to Fred to "never tip that number again." Followed up with the snake laugh.
That said, I don't trust a dent to never stop being a fan of Phil. Hell, I'm surprised GamerNicole didn't make a comeback and tried to slide back into the goutsphere once Panda left.
