Ergo, it has to be because of pornsickness. Have of yet to meet a lolicon who didn't jack off to porn at all, and not necessarily to lolicon itself.

Also is worth mentioning that a lot of lolicon artwork you run into are almost always fan-art (generalization) because majority of the characters are from innocent normal shows where they just so happen to have young characters. For official stuff, you would have to go digging for the original lolicon IPs (the very first hentai OVA was this and remained common throughout the '80s, and there are TV anime for the lolicon demographic), some visual novel adaptations (which sometimes include end card artwork from actual mangaka and you can spot the lolicons there), or occasionally run into non-sexual series that will end up catering to the lolicon crowd down the road (like Higurashi and Corpse Party). The latter here is more likely to happen, though I still think it's pornsickness that makes people start to veer towards the lolicon and even the TV anime will run out so you go for the OVAs or PC games.

(Now I don't know where Hyperdimension Neptunia fits because I have noticed an overlap between coomers and lolicons, but I don't think the games sexualizes the loli characters? I dunno.)

I wish there was a study done, to compare EXACTLY that difference: violence in video games and its effect on human brains, getting a lot of candidates...
As for pornography, just get addicts and non addicts and study the difference. Wouldn't want to get anyone addicted, but see the resources and how the brain changes in time.

Why is that? To prove, finally, that violence on the screen does NOT CHANGE you, while pornography DOES.

Violence in video games doesn't cause any real-life effects. There is a clear element of guilt when committing violence in real life, and that element doesn't exist in video games. On the other hand, pornography causes sexual arousal. It's the same part of the brain that's involved in actual sexual activity.

Indeed. What I meant was more of a study which would correlate those two specific elements - meaning "Violence in media" & "Pornography", to prove without any more question that the discussion is settled.

But I guess these chronic masturbators wouldn't accept it regardless. Would be a great ammunition to have to convince others to not go into that path, but to disarm the "What about muh violent video games huh?!?"
