My own personal conspiracy theory is that the reason these Breadtube-adjacent video essayist types like to make their videos about four hours long is because it's a weird kind of defence mechanism - they assume (largely correctly) that people who disagree with them will not be prepared to waste their time sitting through such a long video, which enables them to put any ridiculous, ill-informed bullshit they want in their videos, knowing that their audience is probably just going to let it wash over them anyway.

It also makes them a massive pain in the arse to trim down to make fun of.

These people remind me so much of old school church ladies informing you mezzo-vocce about who in the village has committed minor transgressions and would you believe it?

I agree. She absolutely does have some shitlib beliefs (or did at one point) but was willing to stick her heels in despite getting massive backlash and demonization on response. If she'd wanted to she absolutely could have just knelt down, kissed the ring, and slid into playing along with troonery to save her reputation after the original backlash, but she has genuine beliefs that aren't just "whatever the other libs say I should believe" and she stuck by them. That alone is worthy of respect regardless of whatever other views she may have that one might disagree with.

I included an unrelated video for context, and to demonstrate that this really is one of the only things she’s focusing on. There were no videos in between that I skipped over to focus on the RDS ones.

A couple of things to note here. First, she got Rowling stuck in her craw back in August and she remained stuck on the issue for a month. She has not produced any long-form content since. These Harry Potter videos are atypically long for her.

Second, the first and second Harry Potter videos were published five days apart. Third, she describes herself as a former Potterhead. This solidifies my beliefs that ex-fans are the most belligerent haters.

Fourth, she describes herself on her channel - which I archived here - as a Leo. Leos are born between July 23 and August 22, which is exactly when the first three videos were released. So, for some reason, she got fixated on Rowling around her birthday.

The fifth thing I will say is that she attempts to psychoanalyze Rowling through her work. This is as logical as trying to discern whether or not Jerry Siegel was schizophrenic because he drew Superman with super-powered eyesight. And, of course, it’s deliberately removing context from the story (such as visual metaphors and / or the function of comedy).

The sixth and final thing I will say about her specifically is that each subsequent video grows longer each and every time. Does this mean her next released will be more than 5 hours? Anyone want to make a bet?

She is part of a larger trend of YouTubers who hate Rowling and direct their rage at Harry Potter. Why substantiate your claims or address the woman’s politics directly when you can scream about a children’s book series for ten hours? Why explain why you believe males can be women when you can quote literal 4chan /lit/ board memes, and then LARP as a feminist? Dunking on popular media is one of the easiest way to get clicks. It was the business model of companies like Cracked.

Harry Potter is nothing more than a proxy for Rowling’s gender critical beliefs. That’s why they go after it so vociferously… even though dunking on Potterheads stopped being funny after Snape killed Dumbledore. They guffaw and slap each other on the back because apparently her overuse of certain words renders all her opinions wrong by default.
Note: I wanted to link to an archive of this ten hour video on Harry Potter by this tranny, Gutian, AKA “Lily Simpson”, because of course he picked Lily and the same last name as Yaniv. I think the real reason she got obsessed with her about this time is probably the Imane Khelif thing though. A lot of people really did believe that Rowling had gone too far, even in this thread some were saying that she’d jumped the gun.
