Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

You don't blame a bomb for exploding and tearing off a limb. What you do is call a bomb disposal squad, so they get rid of it, and it won't harm anyone else.
Bad dogs are worse than ineffective ordinance because I at least have to try to fire poorly made rounds for them to explode in my face, whereas an aggro dog will do that for diverse and unpredictable reasons beyond one's control

Dog is still there
Tell your friend to adopt a monitor lizard, it might swallow it whole it its still small enough
Why is it always women that do this sort of ridiculous humanization of an animal shit
Seen it a million times with empty egg carton types who are in their forties but in this case this dumb bitch has kids
The best security dogs are German shepherds, cane corso, doberman, rottweiler, and malinois.
Whats the best anti-pibble dog? I need one that can tear a shitbull to pieces if it gets within a mile of me

- The dog was on the couch and the cat walked by. Dog decided it was gonna hop down and bug the cat. Jumps off the couch and just faceplants right on the wood floor like Wile E. Coyote.

- The daughter was carrying the dog for some reason and the wife decides she wants to hold him now. She calls to the dog, thinking it's going to jump nicely from the daughter's arms into hers. Fucking thing launches like a rocket and hits the wall hard face first and just slides to the floor like a cartoon. Wife freaked out and acted like the daughter shot-putted it into the drywall for fun or something.

I love how the signs of the little beast being as retarded as the rest of its ilk are simply being ignored by the dumb fat bitch owner. The cumulative head trauma is only going to make it more violent and unpredictable as it grows. Someone getting mauled in that household is an inevitability if they keep "Jeff the Land Shark" for much longer.

Cane Corso, Tibetan Mastiff, and Great Danes if you want something massive that can stomp anything that looks at you funny. For something smaller with proven track records, German Shepherds, Dobermans, and Rottweilers are all good.

Is it "my name Jeff" or Jeff the Killer?

Cause those are two very different memes.

No, it is a reference to Jeff The Baby Land Shark, an obscure Marvel character that only now gained popularity because of Marvel Rivals. Calling a Pitbull puppy that fits like a glove because of the obvious implications.

Jeff the killer went on his demented arch for lul le random 13 year old emo scene kid logic. So to me they both fit as shitbull mascots. Both easily up there with the 'velvet hippo' meme exposing what retards pit defenders are.

Still Nala with a flower crown will always be the queen of exposing the depths of sociopathic pitmum furbaby culture to me. Don't hate dogs, i just really fucking hate how some humans put some hardcoded to be fucked up killers, gamebred dogs over; kids and old ladies minding their own business on the sympathy pyramid.

Asked pit-mommy trainee how her Christmas went. Her face fell and she told me they had to cut it short because the pitbull went crazy. They drove out to see family, like 3 or 4 hours away, and when they got there the dog started lunging and barking and eventually bit someone. She didn't say if they were told to leave or just decided to.

Again, this is a 2 year old, 60lb pitbull coming down off painkillers after knee surgery. The lady didn't even say this was out of character for the dog. There's a 4 year old girl that lives in her complex that the dog just HATES. She says the girl calls it "the mean dog". The lady has enough empathy to agree that the barking growling pitbull would seem mean to a 4 year old. Of course, she goes on to say, "I don't know what (some dude) did to make her hate kids!" Then she says the guy used to throw shit at the dog and hit it and the dog used to really like kids when it was little.

She's wearing a pitbull rescue shirt while she's explaining all this.

Its always some misplaced maternal instinct.
It's narcissism a lot of the time. At least in cases where they already have their own children. I know that word is thrown around a lot. But these people don't love and care for their animals in the usual way. They like that the animal is helpless and can't speak back about how they're treated. There is a type of control and domination there. Think about all the people who relay stories about their narcissistic parents forcing affection on them they don't want and saying that loving them means accepting whatever treatment they give you, essentially. And an adoptive dog with a bad reputation "owes" you because you love and care for it so much and saved it and etc. It's especially clear because a lot of these people know very little about dogs and often do not take good care of them or make decisions that are the best for dogs and humans alike. It's because the dog is just a dumping ground for the behavior and attention humans won't accept and you can pretend it's whale eyeing is cute rather than an indicator it's done with the situation. It's a lot like a stand in for the Golden Child in families stuck with someone like that.

There are a number of people where I live who have extremely untrained Cane Corsos. Just as bad as pit bull owners IMO. In contrast, every Great Dane owner I've ever seen has been extremely responsible about training their dogs.

Untrained corsos are nightmare dogs. Trained ones are generally good as long as you aren't an intruder. Same goes for rottweilers.

Dobermans, and Rottweilers are all good.
Are you sure a doberman can take on a pitbull? and rotts are a bit psycho too
Cane Corso, Tibetan Mastiff
Great, more monster dogs, what about that story about one of those long nose dogs killing a bunch of shitbulls? cant remember the name but it was that breed that was a meme some months ago

If someone brought one of these shits to my house and it even growled at me I would take my machete and hack the fucker to pieces, call the cops I dont give a fuck, its my house!

Great Dane, German Shepherds, Dobermans, and Rottweilers
Everyone of those dogs would get eviscerated by a grown pitbull in full retard fight mode. Only breeds I've seen do shit to these things is Tibetan Mastiffs and grown Akitas. The thick fur helps protect them.
what about that story about one of those long nose dogs killing a bunch of shitbulls?
Borzoi and that story is old internet bullshit. Never happened. Borzois are sighthounds. I love them but they are not fighting dogs. I remember some years back a pitbull invaded some woman's house and killed her Borzoi

Giant schnauzers are actually the best "guard dog" for the general public. They're excellent dogs and have much more discernment between threats than some of the other breeds people bring up. They need proper training and regular exercise like any large working breed but they aren't a literal ticking time bomb if not managed within extremely narrow margins like cane corsos are. And they're adorable. Cane corsos are basically pit bulls by any other name and are ugly as fuck, the breed was developed from fighting dogs much like a lot of pit bull type dogs. They're used for hunting from where they came from I heard but are too easy to be insane. The average dog owner doesn't need a "guard dog" but a companion animal, something with a very easy going temperament. Most people don't even exercise their labs enough let alone something with higher drive.

Restart the clock.

3-year-old killed in Ohio dog attack remembered as "happy girl with a beautiful laugh and smile"

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A 3-year-old killed in a dog attack in Ohio is being remembered as a "happy girl with a beautiful laugh and smile."

Two dogs fatally mauled Kingsley Wright inside a home in the Roselawn neighborhood of Cincinnati on Nov. 27, CBS affiliate WKRC reported. The 3-year-old girl's mother, Gina Smith, told the TV station that she last saw her on Nov. 27 after dropping her off at her father's home.

Cincinnati.com.

In her obituary, the girl's loved ones said she loved to sing and dance with her family and "always saw the positive and bright side of everything around her."

"Kingsley was a happy girl with a beautiful laugh and smile," her obituary said.

Gina Smith told WKRC that she wants justice for her daughter, as she feels "in the dark." Police have released limited details about the dog attack.

"That's what I want, is somebody to be accountable for their actions, for our loss," she told the TV station.

Gina Smith reportedly said she plans to hold a celebration of life for her daughter that will include a balloon release and a candlelit vigil.

This was at least the second fatal dog attack in Ohio this year. In July, 6-year-old Jaxson Dvorak was mauled to death by his family dog. The American Veterinary Medical Association says 4.5 million people in America are bitten by dogs each year, with children being the most common victims.

Not even the cane corso? what about the argentine dogo? how dangerous are akitas? to owners I mean
I've never heard of an Akita being dangerous to their owner. And they tend to be those super loyal, one person dogs, that sort of tolerate the wider family.

I think it's important to remember that a lot of dogs have territorial and protective instincts, being aggressive is secondary to that and only if they feel they need to "do their job". But pit type dogs are bred for aggression being the point. They don't have discernment with threats or anything they just like mauling.

Dogs that are aggressive towards their humans should just be put down. They aren't protective in a positive way. A temperament that allows for that doesn't get fixed.
