This goes the other way around too, if it's not true why does Sam go out of his way to avoid addressing it or making sure it's not brought up? He could just deny it.

Sam Hyde gets a pass because he's a comedian who deliberately creates confusion about what he does and believes. I'm not sure whether the latest video really is a trial balloon for becoming an edgier version of a Crowder type guy or not but if he really does try to pivot into a more serious and mainstream "RW political commentator who makes jokes" role he's going to have to have a better response than saying nothing and hoping it never gets brought up because he will piss people off and someone prominent will hear about it and bring it up to a wide audience.

Immediately pounce on any posts containing substantive critiques of $EDADDY in the hopes that the only discussion in the $EDADDY thread is advertising the latest content of $EDADDY or wishing $EDADDY a happy birthday or holidays, etc. We are now at the point in the cycle where people demand that substantive but negative discussion of $EDADDY be banned.

Imo it's simply because the discussion has already been had in this thread a dozen different times. Lidl adds nothing new to the argument, just more sperging and baby raging at anyone that dares disagree with her.

It's incredibly tiring that the same autistic thread meltdown happens every single fucking time this thread gets featured.

No, it doesn't. If you accuse someone else of wrong doing, the burden of proof is on you. Unlike Marky, Sam addressing an allegation like that actually is a lose lose because it would cause people to start speculating again, which is bad for him even if he's innocent.

There isn't any substantive evidence though. A picture and some screenshots of Facebook messages amounts to basically nothing.

That illustrates the whole point though. Once Sam moves out of his hugbox filled with people who think he's THE Internet legend he has to deal with a more varied audience, a large portion of which will consist of people who like some or most of his recent or past work but still find the Marky situation extremely hard or impossible to move past if and when they hear it. He's still getting off easier than anyone else would in a similar situation

And I'm specifically critical of the markyposting. There's alot you can criticize Sam for, like being a money hungry jew, being a wannabe right wing edaddy grifter, being annoying, etc. but insubstantial accusations of rape and abuse as well as unnecessary rage at users questioning said accusations does not scream critical thinking to me.
I'm very open to being presented good, hard evidence, but no one has yet to do so.
