I believe there's a limit to how many previous usernames will appear in that dropdown should the account have very many username changes, but I've also personally had success obfuscating a Steam account's prior username. I'd rather not explain how considering that this thread is monitored by lolcows being actively observed and I don't want them to further cover their tracks. That said, it is within the realm of possibility to prevent a prior username from appearing in that section.

There might be tools which would allow someone to see a better list of that account's prior usernames. It's not something I've looked into much, though.

They killed steamrep literally yesterday which could have been helpful and I kind of wish I was reading the forum instead of getting drunk. Running the id through steamid.uk, the only information we don't already have is the account creation date (Jan 13, 2019), it's original name (hewwo...), and that it received a blanket steam forum ban at some point. All of the Cyrillic name changes occurred between August and October of 2023, which does make it look like the account changed hands. To me, it seems like the account was probably hacked and subsequently abandoned. It is interesting that the account's name was reverted to its community id but the vanity url was never wiped.
