New Orleans: Multiple people dead on Bourbon Street as 'car ploughs through crowd'​

Reports suggested a vehicle had driven through a crowd on New Orleans' extremely popular Bourbon Street, killing multiple people.​

Multiple people have allegedly been killed after a vehicle ploughed through a crowd of revellers on New Orleans' famous Bourbon Street in the US, according to local media and eyewitnesses.

New Orleans Police Department said that a lorry may have run down the group on the street, which is in the Louisiana city's French Quarter.

Witnesses speaking to CBS News claimed that a vehicle crashed into a crowd at high speed, and then the driver got out and started firing a weapon, with police returning fire.

It was unknown how many people have been killed or injured, but unconfirmed reports on social media claimed it is a "mass casualty" incident.

The incident allegedly occurred around 3.15am local time at the intersection of Bourbon Street and Iberville.

In a post on X, a journalist at local news outlet WGNO-TV wrote: "NOPD source states that as many as 10 fatalities after driver in pickup truck plowed into crowd on Bourbon Street.

"Multiple more injuries. Mayor and police chief on scene," he added, though this has not yet been confirmed.

The French Quarters is tourists, bars and daiquiri shops with trashy stores and strip joints interspersed amongst the nightclubs and bar rooms.

The high crime rate you read about it 98% niggers shooting other niggers in the neighborhoods around that particular parish.

People will get mugged sometimes, but usually that was due to them naively and drunkenly stumbling outside of the crowded, well policed, well lit French Quarters and start roaming a residential area or somewhere else where nobody is around besides the potential mugger who then might decide to observe and stalk the intoxicated victim, who is now in a quiet, dark area where no one else is awake to witness the crime.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to blame the victims in these situations. I just want to let people know that there are typically very specific circumstances in these type of crimes.

You can greatly diminish the odds that you'll be a victim of such crimes simply by being a little bit observant and not drinking yourself into a blackout state in public while wandering around an unfamiliar city all alone.

I think that advice is universally applicable.

I'm not going to lie, if you don't go to the bad parts in the wards, NOLA rocks. Everyone there just wants to drink, bareback sex, and gamble poorly. All the black people there are normally cool about race if you are in the tourist areas, and there is a bunch of neat stuff to see and do. Nothing like being hungover as fuck and getting benights as Du Monde outlet in the mall near the river next morning.

It's a shame that the city gets jack-hammered by crime, nature, and poor city planning.

The suppressors, IEDs and body armor really aren't that much of a red flag. This happened in the South after all, and I don't remember him wearing body armor in the one picture of his dead body. The truck and where it was though, that needs to really be looked into. If this guy was really just a cut and dry lone wolf Jihadi he wouldn't be driving into Mexico. I'm not saying this is a huge terror cell or something, but either way this is very suspicious.

Yeah except both of them were lone wolfs who got it in their head that shooting people was the right idea. There was no discord or organization supporting them. I promise you most white nationals would rather have the non-whites just....leave than actively kill them. However if you read what Muslim terror orgs write they actively promote the murder of anyone who's not them, regardless of where they are. We aren't talking about "cleansing the holy land" we are talking about "kill everyone but me". Get real. White Nationals are dangerous but they're a different (id say even less so) danger than Muslims. White Nationals will target soft targets of Jewish (and muslims and black and whatever) cultural and religious institutions. Muslims will target ANYTHING from hospitals to office buildings.

Suspect named as Shamsud Din Jabbar​


The suspect accused of driving a truck through a crowd on Bourbon street in New Orleans, killing 10 people and injuring at least 36, has been identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, according to two federal officials who spoke to BBC's US partner, CBS News.

The FBI confirmed earlier today the incident is being treated as an "act of terrorism" and the perpetrator was killed after the attack.

My issue with this is there was electronically activated barriers already put in place to prevent this exact thing from happening. We're hearing witnesses say those weren't even up. Obviously never relax should be one of your surviving principals in this life but I feel this was a total failure on the city's part.
