I'm no wokist, but Jimmy has always rubbed me the wrong way, that "charity" video being no exception. I didn't watch the video itself, but the thumbnail told me everything I needed to know: Jimmy portraying himself as this benevolent saint giving vision to the blind with his stupid airbrushed sociopath grin. It was just another excuse for him to make himself look good while making more money off of clueless tards watching his videos.

Jimmy cares about absolutely nothing but himself, and if people still haven't figured that out, then I dunno what to tell them.

Never watched Mr. Beast before. My two nieces (young teens) though knew who he was and since I was visiting family for Xmas, the three of us and checked out the show.

My nieces were completely turned off by the show. I mean completely turned off. Is this show like amped up to 11 compared to his regular content?

When do they get to the part where they have to stone one of their members to advance?

It is even funnier given how Jimmy would shit talk his competitors in the food market (Hershey's, Lunchables, and Five Guys), like I'm pretty sure they had lots of people working to perfect recipes, yet Jimmy is fine with shitting on them.

Not saying you can't criticize stuff but Jimmy trying to use the "WE WORKED HARD ON IT" card to shield himself from criticism is pathetic.

The lunchly and Hershey's shit is pretty relevant to all of this btw. Who cares about lunchables and Hershey's and "the best burger"? 14 year olds.

He doesn't seem to be quite aware of just what his audience really is. So when adults watch his shit and cast it aside as shovelware he takes offense.

I checked out his tweeter and replied and it was tons of 3rd worlders and a lot of people basically asking for money.

I think he has probably deluded himself into believing that because he's "successful" that that means his audience will also include adults who should look up to him. The real reality is his shit is only impressive to 14 year olds.

It's crazy if that's true (probably is) because they all have access to all their demographic information for the last 15 years or whatever. Youtube gives you WAAAY more specific and useful information about who cares about your shit than ANY other medium. He knows exactly how many kids and from where are watching his shit and caters specifically to them. Then thinks he's a media mogul pushing entertainment boundaries

All of the youtubers he works with appeal to children. All of his thumbnails are cuckfaces and "look at his money BIG COOL THING!!". Him (and everyone he works with) scream all the time. Nothing about any of his (or any youtuber he works with) content is for anyone BUT tarded children. I mean he even makes fucking child lunches, candy, and toys.

It's hard to know if it's true. But it makes a lot of sense that since the scammery accusations dropped anyone who is a decent level English speaker and has a reasonable IQ has steered clear of mrbeast. All he has left are kids, 3rd worlders and people begging for clout/money.

It's probably also a significant factor that he made his entire life/personality into making "algorithm famous" videos. He just wasn't smart enough to realize that the end point of endlessly chasing da algorithm isn't fame and glory but rather slop - it must bite that one of the shittest, hollowest "journalism" outfits (IGN) can see through his shit and also doesn't like it.

Like there's a time and a place for legit kids entertainers like that bob ross painter dude or the wiggles. Mrbeast seems to probably think he can have broad, general appeal and he probably did until recently. But after his reputation got fucked plus him selling his soul to make the most hyper commercial kiddie products possible it was kind of inevitable that no real adult would care to be associated with him or care about his khantent.
