The incident at Trump Tower in Las Vegas

Eye witnesses claim there has been a "huge explosion" near Donald Trump's tower in Las Vegas, with one local posting on social media saying he heard a loud "boom, boom, boom".

Videos taken by locals nearby the 64 floor complex have reported police and fire rushing to the scene, which boasts it has the most "exceptional views" of the strip. One person shared a video on X seeming to show smoke rising into the air from close to the luxury complex, although it is currently unclear what has transpired.

They said in the footage: "I just heard a boom. There's a lot of smoke. It was like a boom, boom, boom. It almost sounded like a rolling garbage dumpster, then I saw that pop up."

Another wrote on X: "My friend who did the Grucci fireworks show in Las Vegas just now texted me that there was a huge explosion at Trump Tower in Vegas." Another added: "Some sort of explosion at Trump tower in Las Vegas. No idea what happened yet."

The Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas is a huge 64-story building, complete with condos, on Fashion Show Drive in Paradise, Nevada. It was named after its part-owner Donald Trump, and is located just down the street from the Wynn hotel.

The exterior glass is infused with gold. The property opened on March 31, 2008, with 1,282 rooms, as well as two restaurants. It is Las Vegas's tallest residential building at 622ft (190m).

That’s where the batteries are stored. It’s a flat surface between where the floorboard and transmission is.
Look how safe this is. Don’t you just want to sit on it saar? Indians are the future of quality!

Do the Cybertruck batteries release hydrogen when under duress? That would explain the flame out of the cab.
This was missing too many labels and I got confused on what the cartoon was supposed to represent so I helped

Thank you for adding these, the original very much did not have enough labels.

But seriously though, this looks more like bad QC from Tesla than actual terrorism. The truck wasn't packed with explosives to do any real damage and it was parked too far away.
Not that I sit around thinking up terrorist plots, but why not drive into the lobby?

EV fire in the lobby goes from "minor annoyance" to "aloha snackbar" real fast.

Under thermal runaway if it is reacting with the air around it then yes, depending on the electrolyte that can also add to the hydrogen. The sparks you saw were not fireworks but superheated graphite. Basically a miniature version of Chernobyl graphite from the rods being shattered into pieces melting into the ground.

Assuming an attack, videogame knowledge of explosives probably. I'm betting they assumed the batteries would explode like grenades and make for a much bigger explosion.

If he was lighting a cig and that somehow set everything off that would be way funnier though.
I agree we might have a case of a stupid amateur terrorist trained in the Hollywood school of carbombing who thinks 50 pounds of explosive (He could barely lift it, so that's a LOT!) parked outside the front door will blow the whole building down like OKC.

And then immolates himself due to shoddy construction of the detonator, to top it all off.

The thing that has me thinking it's deliberate vs accidental with 51%/49% certainty is that it was a Tesla..... blowing up in front of a TRUMP property.

If that doesn't sound like just the kind of thing a wannabe Uncle Ted thinks would be symbolic proof of their "genius" ? And surely save us all from the Trump/Musk Super Police State that will happen any minute now?

I don't know what is.

Had it exploded literally anywhere else? I'd be more skeptical, instead of a pick-em' .

To be fair...to my obviously untrained eye those "sparklers" did looked like fireworks shooting out of the back trunk. So maybe this was just unlucky shit happening in a bad place at a bad time. Dude had a trunk full of firework and something, that big red/black fireball looked like a typical gasoline explosion, and it just went off for some reason.

Murphy does like to fuck with things after all

The biggest issue is social media and all the dumb fucks trying to get eyes on themselves posting unverified crazy shit as fast as they hear it. Getting the "news" out first is far more important to the algorithm then getting real news out.

Could have been a deliberate plan by some retard who thought that if you just put enough fireworks in a truck and set them all off, it will act exactly like a bomb and take the building down (or at least damage it). Why did no terrorist ever think of this before?
