I still think he intended to die in the car but since he was renting it, it's possible he was unfamiliar with the convoluted system of pulleys and levers to operate a cybertruck and got stuck inside in the 15 seconds it took the car to ignite. If he had to use the manual/emergency door release for any reason, he could have easily gotten stuck in the car that long.

Yeah particularly when you write it like this it makes skt seem plausible. Perhaps he wanted to do a ransom/news situation first but it does kind of seem like things perhaps went up in flames before they were supposed to.

Weirder still that there's still no indication of any manifesto or real internet posts but somehow had enough planning to put a cybertruck at the trump hotel valet.

Whatever was on his mobile phone is fucking long gone due to the fire too.

VP may sell nitromethane but they're more known for exotic high octane gasoline. I don't think it was nitrometh regardless - nitro burns with a colorless flame and not the bright orange flame we see in video and pics.
 
Hypothetical I saw on tweeter: someone used the Tesla "summon" feature which made the car drive up to the lobby and then triggered the devices inside it.

The dead body doesn't seem 100% confirmed so far.

Edit: if this feature was used I'm sure it would've shown in the vehicle telemetry and Elon would've already told da cops
