Reports suggested a vehicle had driven through a crowd on New Orleans' extremely popular Bourbon Street, killing multiple people.​

Multiple people have allegedly been killed after a vehicle ploughed through a crowd of revellers on New Orleans' famous Bourbon Street in the US, according to local media and eyewitnesses.

New Orleans Police Department said that a lorry may have run down the group on the street, which is in the Louisiana city's French Quarter.

Witnesses speaking to CBS News claimed that a vehicle crashed into a crowd at high speed, and then the driver got out and started firing a weapon, with police returning fire.

It was unknown how many people have been killed or injured, but unconfirmed reports on social media claimed it is a "mass casualty" incident.

The incident allegedly occurred around 3.15am local time at the intersection of Bourbon Street and Iberville.

In a post on X, a journalist at local news outlet WGNO-TV wrote: "NOPD source states that as many as 10 fatalities after driver in pickup truck plowed into crowd on Bourbon Street.

"Multiple more injuries. Mayor and police chief on scene," he added, though this has not yet been confirmed.

Whether vehicle, flag, gun or improvised IED, Muslim, White, Black or Brown, with or without manifestos that statements of violence are made with some frequency in this country. The logical conclusion is they are products of their environment. Environment can be summed up as what the brain takes as input for where they are, and for this culture that would be mostly what they experience on-line or through electrical devices such as computers, phone, games, movies, TV etc. It is by far a more potent environmental factor that the physical one. We almost live on them now.

For many of these attackers, their world is defined by what they believe and perceive to be the world around them. Some are born sick, but the genetic odds of that being more apparent in the USA than other similar countries is unlikely, but the consuming of media here is staggeringly huge.

Two people, living in the same suburb with much the same on paper, can live in two different worlds. You don't have to be in an institution, ISIS in Afghanistan, go to a Black Panther meeting or meet at a cult retreat or a KKK meeting, you can just log-on and you are there.

Eventually, they log-off and go tell the world how worthless we all are. The irony is that we end up logging on more.

if a guy truck of peaces through the wall of a stadium he's not gonna get nearly as many people as drunk retards wandering around the middle of the street on new years morning, and they are certainly gonna be sweeping the stadium multiple times over the day for bombs, doing extra security checks, etc.

Have skimmed through this thread, and it seems odd that we seemingly know so little at this point. We are talking about some guy who rammed into a bunch of people and started shooting with a shitty ISIS flag attached to his car. In addition to this there were supposedly several people planting explosives in the area, and now there's also some vague connection with the guy who blew up his Cybertruck at the Trump hotel....and they still have barely said that it seems to be a terrorist attack and nobody seems to care that there are supposedly a bunch of people planting explosives running around.

Also, I don't get why people are saying it's confirmed that he's in NOI. That seems to be pretty baseless speculation at this point.

The Cybertruck thing seems a bit too symbolic. Jihadis aren’t too good on symbolism (it can also be seem as idolatrous) and usually just focus on the violence.

There is also no connection to ISIS established. It was said ISIS inspired and no cell claimed the attack to my knowledge.
He did spend 10 days in Egypt recently so maybe some very covert Muslim Brotherhood connection.

i saw masterson-young mentioned a couple of times too, but no one seemed to be providing any citation for that, and i didn't see it in any of the images or the facebook of the dad, so i just figured i'd leave that one to the smarties in the thread. it's strange. thanks for the quick info on the brother's statement, i had missed that yesterday.
