Why is it important to solve the issue of smoothbores now? The enemy has ordered a huge number of fiber optic coils in China. Very soon Ukrainian fiber-optic drones will become a mass phenomenon on the front. They fly slower and maneuver more smoothly. REB is useless against them, but it is easier to shoot them down with small arms. I don't think it's a big problem to saturate the front with 12-gauge barrels and cartridges.
