Why does the name Natalie seem disproportionately common among transfem individuals?

The lyrics to Natalie Imbruglia's 'Torn' are obviously about a transgender man's journey. In fact, it reads like a series of reddit updates.

I thought I saw a man brought to life
(Life begins upon realizing his true self)

He was warm, he came around like he was dignified
(Embracing his inner woman brings him dignity)

He showed me what it was to cry
Well, you couldn't be that man I adored
You don't seem to know, or seem to care what your heart is for
But I don't know him anymore

(All those teary nights but now that man is no longer... surgery day is near)

There's nothin' where he used to lie
(A dainty woman does not leave a depression in the sofa)

The conversation has run dry
(He is experiencing neo-vaginal dryness... uh-oh)

That's what's going on
Nothing's fine, I'm torn

(Reality bites)

You know how they wanted to become the goth girl they were into in high school? That girl was Natalie Portman in Leon The Professional.

Every troon chosen name is a skin walking fantasy. Not a single original life lived among that crowd. The grass is greener if you're someone else.

My pinch of tea is on influential actors and characters of that name.

There used to be tons of Olivias. I've never heard of a troon that didn't go through two or three women's names, though, so I bet the original Olivias are now Natalies or Lilys.

Almost certainly derived from that troonslop game Celeste. That’s the name of the main character, who is canonically a troon.
yeah, that one where dev's troon name just had to be the same as the girl protagonist's. skinwalker skinwalker

Ignoring the association, make sense AGPs go for names that are cute/girly but with an "exotic" flair

What is it about that combination of letters? Same thing with Emily. None of them see that Natalie has natal in it, or that the american pronunciation has Nad in it lol.
This is @Real Mayun's new account, isn't it? Asking about his tranny name, into electronic music, uses the term "transfem" unironically.

Hi Alex, nice to see you again. You'll never leave.

On the topic of Natalies:

And, in reference to troon names: Alicia, Carrie, Lily, and Rose. The lack of originality is both stunning and brave!

Most troons make a name based off their old one which just seems like an odd choice to me (eg, a former friend of mine went from Brodey to Brooklyn) If you hate that name to the core, why use one similar?
Those people really don't, they just hate the way that it was gendered.

IMO there's like 4 places troon names come from

1. Just do the girl version of their real name.
2. The name of the girl that got away when they were young.
3. Some character or celebrity they're fixated on.
4. Something they think sounds demeaning due to either being childish and cute or just downright sexual.

Natalie is super common because it hits like all of them. Its a substitute name for Nathan, it was a common name when most of them were young, references Natalie portman (and other porn people), and it sounds rather feminine - ends with -Ie all that,
