RE: Owl. She's been treated fairly neutrally in this thread. She has, however, played a bigger role in the Love Notes for TLC thread. It's a short read, but they have a much more critical take on Owl.

Also, if you didn't hear Yaba's stream this morning, just know that Chantal can't do anything right. She can't get abused right! Also, Yaba offered an interesting pronunciation (and take) on treason ("tree-son"). She also struggled with authoritative (at least, I think that's what she was trying to say.)

She is now proposing that Chantal be stripped of her Canadian citizenship, so that it may be given to a deserving immigrant, that someone should talk to that guy Justin-or-whatever. I'm going to be honest here -- when she said Justin, (1) I thought she meant Justin Bieber; (2) I was surprised she knew Trudeau's first name. There was a "Canadian Thanksgiving" stream a couple of years ago where she put then-British PM Boris Johnson on the thumbnail.

RE: citizenship. For a moment, I thought she might have been referencing the Jihadi brides, Shamima Begum and Hoda Muthana, both of whom lost their residency (UK and US, respectively) due to becoming "Jihadi Brides." Then I thought the likelihood of Yaba making that kind of reference wasn't great.

There was another great example where she referred to Chantal's use of standard Arabic phrases (used by Muslims and often by non-Muslims in MENA countries) as "buzzwords" (interesting coming from Yaba, who has used those same words to mock a Muslim woman).
