Not too familiar with The Bends and In Rainbows, but I do know that The Bends was their last "rock" album. Most of my critiques are towards albums like OK Computer which to me at least seem really pretentious. The funny thing is I used to enjoy that record but over time became more harshly critical of it.
When I first heard that name I thought for sure it was a trans drag queen...still not impressed, I don't need to her music if she's shilling for LGTBQ I want NOTHING to do with her! She could have the voice of an angel but no, not gonna support that lifestyle!
I don't care about U2, either, but The Edge did the theme to The Batman (for a few seasons), the cartoon series that had Rino Romano voicing the Bat, so I have a slight soft spot for him.
The Bends is Radiohead's most diverse work, imo. It's got solid grunge rock with "Just", crossover radio with "High and Dry", the acoustic-centric "Fake Plastic Trees" hints of what they would flirt with later with "Bulletproof I wish I was". The first track is good too.
I don't like U2 (at least after Joshua Tree which means they have now sucked longer than they were ever even arguably good and they were not even that good then). I do think the Edge is actually pretty good. But Boner is the most gargantuan faggot who ever lived, the supernova version of other virtue signaling annoying faggot Bob Geldof.
