It reads like some academic repeatedly mashing the auto text buttons to replicate how they usually string a sentence together. “A woman is a very nice person and she knows what she wants and how she feels about it so it’s not just a normal person but it’s a bit better”.

Yeah. Amazon's "Most Read" list also has all the Potter books in it and I've seen reports for the latest Strike book being on the 2024 list (I haven't checked that one). And just to hammer the point home, an adaptation of The Ink Black Heart was recently released and there's apparently one being done for The Christmas Pig. Rowling is as succesful as ever.

Seeing these people seethe and cope about how the public at large isn't willing to let go of Rowling for them will never stop being hilarious. They've tried everything in their playbook, every -ism and -phobia they could think of, they even attempted (badly) to convince people Potter was always badly written shlock, and nothing sticks. Pretending the world has "left [Rowling] behind" when there's not one bookstore or nerdy store in the world that doesn't have a section dedicated to Potter is unbelievable levels of cope.

I was thinking about this over the holidays. I visited more than one bookshop and they didn't just have shelves, they had entire sections devoted to Harry Potter. The stuff sells.

I was particularly amused (this was not in the bookshop) by the branded Crocs!


This reminds me, I must get back to knitting my Hogwarts house scarf, which comes in an official merchandise kit I bought from HMV....

LOL. There are new-ish releases of the HP books specifically targeted as gifts for kids:

The kids who were reading the first editions are now of the age to be parents themselves and are buying this stuff. Over here HP is mainstream, too, you frequently see HP-merch in stores, as frequent as i.e. snoopy, barbie. They are so salty that what she wrote once keeps being a cash-cow even decades later and normies don't care for the smear campaings of the troon-brigade.

We have stats that show that even when compared to other biological men, troons are over represented amongst sex offenders.

If you're the type of idiot who willingly troons out, there's something deeply wrong with you, and there are likely other things wrong with you as well. Yes, trans"women" are inherently dangerous, and they always will be potential hazards to other peoples' health and well being until they decide to unfuck themselves and stop being troons, and decide to fix their other problems, like crippling porn addiction.

I was pleasantly surprised on Christmas by my brother having gotten way more based this year, the rest of my family isn't there yet but luckily tranny-hatred is prevalent everywhere in my family

Not to powerlevel too much but same with my cousin and her parents and extended family are predominantly liberal.
