i've never modded dark souls, did he install anything that actually changes the gameplay or adds something new or is it just graphics stuff?

It's basically a ton of improvements to make the game feel better and remove a lot of BS.
While Phil claims this mod makes everything harder it's mostly the opposite. Having slower healing and bosses having a few new attacks doesn't matter when you do so much damage and DS1 bosses are already very slow. This is not meant to be a challenge mod no matter what Phil will try to claim

As an example, the Capra Demon is one of the most iconic bosses in Dark Souls despite having no lore and being reused as a normal mob later in the game. The reason is the extremely claustrophobic room combined with his 2 extremely fast and aggressive dogs that spawn as adds. You get bum rushed with no escape route the second the fight starts. Age of Sunlight removes the dogs in exchange for...giving the demon flaming swords once he hits half HP that dooooo nothing but a little more damage. He's still the same enemy, no new attacks, just as slow, same as the normal mob basically.

His spending this year will skyrocket since hes just gonna start buying things whenever X object dares to inconvenience him or exist a better version of it. Wouldnt surprise me if he stealth begs for a 50 series graphics card this year because why the fuck not. Whatever shame that kept him at bay has fucking disappeared and he is now unchained. The funny thing is that theres a high chance he will fall so hard into his face so yeat that the begging may be the most intense yet.

It definitely looked easier from what I saw. He beat a difficult optional boss with a weapon that hadn't been upgraded, and the boss's attacks were nerfed compared to the original version. Damage from enemy attacks seemed lower too.

Jesus how does he still not get this? He doesn't have any takes, he's the most boring basic bitch NPC out there. You're going to spend hours doing tech support, sit through an entire prestream about how he doesn't watch wrestling just to hear his "take" that he likes the same hulk hogan match everyone else does.

Holy shit next level stupidity from Dave tonight. He’s practicing a combo in training mode and doing it just fine, but he drops it every time in actual matches. Goes back to training mode to test it and he is doing it perfectly again, proving that the problem isn’t the player and that it’s just the games shitty online netcode

The actual issue? DSP has his training mode options set to punish counter, meaning it’s a combo that won’t work on a regular hit. The game has a big “punish counter” flash on the side of the screen every time you start said combo….and this retard really can’t tell what the issue was. Genuinely next level stupidity from someone who plays fighting games

I love how Pigroach always says "it's not a fighting game anymore" because he loses to "flow chart" pattern players. Zero self-awareness or grasp on the meta. Predictable rushdowns work on him because his defense is predictable. You aren't a high level player, Phil. Could you imagine him playing chess? There was nothing I could do!

  • Agree

Street fighter really brings out the worst in him, calling some dude who beat him low intelligent who just plays this all day, they think it makes them good at anything in life, and they wear Velcro shoes

You’ll never see cope like this anywhere else, he has to create entire head canons for the people who beat him as the biggest losers on the planet to soften the blows to his ego lol

Is Kino Cathedral Triple P (that's what I call him, Triple P)? I thought they weren't on YouTube?
Also, Phil calling Triple P "Ash" is one of the gayest things he's done in a while. You'd think he's simping for a cute e-girl, not some morbidly Kat-style obese guy who sounds like Michael's daughter from GTA V.

Why do I always feel like nobody else remembers his bank leaks or his bankruptcy? Once again people need to be reminded that he is half-a-mill Phil. $500,000 dollars in debt while having an incredibly easy and high earning "job".
It's kinda ironic you say "why don't people remember" something when you get a huge fact wrong. He was $130k in CC debt + $60k on the CT condo. The rest of that number you cited are things that were current (car, mortgage) + things that had payment plans that couldn't be discharged (tax obligations).

I hate when people spread misinformation because fuck face Phil will use that as "see detractors exaggerate everything dood".

Not to mention that when DSP is pressured, he flubs his inputs. Not only do "rush-down" characters fuck him up, but anybody who consistently puts pressure on him makes him make mistakes. He wilts under pressure. Heck even in MVC2, a game he claims to have lots of knowledge of, the second he faces somebody who doesn't let him just spam assists blindly, he gets destroyed.

Phil has this weird thing where he's typically better than a super casual player but sucks against anybody who knows what they're doing. It's consistent across any game he plays online. He chalks it up to them playing the game 24/7, but you can also be a casual player who gets better over time. That doesn't exist to him, as Mr.PiggyOinkOinkOinkOink mentioned. In 1 1/2 years, he's only lost 24 legit SF6 matches, in his own mind. He's never been outplayed in COD, it's always the game's fault. He's not an interesting lolcow because of his drama, he's an interesting lolcow because the lack of any shred of self awareness is truly special.

Fair, I just remember that total being right at half a mill, but the point of what I was saying is that he had completely insane debt and can't control his spending and it won't change.

Misinfo definitely annoys me too so sorry about that but I don't much care if Phil is going to try discredit people as he is retarded and will lie anyway.

He may have accidentally (or intentionally) pignotized himself into needing to chase a bigger high because of the multiple goals bullshit. Back then the cope was "I'm good if we hit the goals" and it was a nice big number that if you hit it, Phil knows he got through his "shift" well. Now because he made it so he can double dip on potentially infinite number of number-go-up goals hits during the streams, his brain is unable to properly moneybuff him when he gets the $100 whale bailout because the pig voices in his head immediately pivot to: "okay now get them to hit more goals"
