More to the point, I was very much expecting by now there would be some internal dissent on the ukrops side on the way the war is being persecuted. Mutinies, whole units absconding, the like. We're seeing some of that now, but not enough that the entire lines would be abandoned.

Either Z-man's internal security apparatus is very good, or the "benefactors" are very good at keeping control.

Figure A, "Ukraine may surrender some of its territory to achieve peace and preserve its independence". Orange is "yes", blue is "hell no" and grey is "dunno". Note how the dynamic changed since May 2022 to December 2024.

As you can see, 51% support the war even now, which is a rather slim, but a majority nonetheless. Which will be lost some time mid-2025 unless something changes.

But what about actual peace terms? Let's take a look at Figure B. Orange is "hell yes", blue is "no way", timeline is between June and December 2024.

Package 1: Russia retains control of occupied territories, Ukraine rejects NATO but joins the EU and receives funds for reconstruction.
Package 2: Russia retains control of occupied territories, Ukraine joins NATO and the EU.
Package 3: Russia retains control over the Donetsk and Crimea but returns Zaporizhia and Kherson, Ukraine joins NATO and the EU.

As you can see, the situation is quite different here. Even the first and worst package for Ukraine is considered unacceptable only by 47% of respondents. The NATO option is supported by 64% of respondents, however, although it had only 47% support in June. Only 21% oppose it.

Note that 64% is not just a majority, it is an overwhelming majority. We do not see steady growth but a sharp jump, which is absent in other options. The punchline is that fewer respondents supported Package 3, which is even better for Ukraine than Package 2 - most likely because Package 2 is what the Ukrainian propaganda has been pushing very aggressively.

Make of that what you will.

People in position to do palace coup against man in green shirt are getting cut from monetary aid Ukraine is getting so as long as shekels keep flowing they have interest in maintaining status quo. Plus when it is over it will be Zelensky who will be held responsible not them. As for popular unrest it is Imo combination of Zelenskys regime is trying to keep illusion of business as usual in Kiev and other major cities, suppression of protests and of course if you are Ukrainian man protesting against Zelensky is quickest way to get one way ticket to Kursk.

Some possibilities:

1. Certain internal information is heavily controlled (even Orban has been able to exert a degree of Hungarian independence from the globohomo narrative through control of the nation's media), while Ukraine is a country that has had has decades of overt propaganda fed into it (i.e. Bandera, Ukraine will be as rich as the West after 1990). If anything, TDS, QAnon, and the pandemic show how deep normies can be led into narrative structures.

2. The FSU-Azov may spend a significant amount of effort tracking and suppressing dissent, and an atomized society that only receives partial information may be easily suppressed- i.e. how little resistance Azov faces as a blocking force.

3. Money flowing from the West allows some degree of normalcy within the elite circles- dance clubs and spin classes in Kiev do not speak of a society that feels particularly pressured.

4. Modern Ukrainian society is unusually cruel and heavily divided due to historical and propagandist factors. The poors (not enough money to pay bribes), 'dirty' minorities, and Ukrainian-Russians in the east are the ones being drafted into the meatgrinders, and don't matter to the majority to Ukrainians, who see it as the 'scraping' away of those on the edge of 'acceptable' Ukrainian society.

In other news, some attacks by drones hundreds of miles away from Ukraine. My guess is either drones assembled inside Russia, or coming from the associated NATO-lites (Estonia, Finland). These have the hallmarks of Western intelligence involvement IMO.

Interesting data. The fact that support for peace is so high is fascinating to me. After all, this is a country where swearing at the wrong people gets you tortured and disappeared.
I wish I was being hyperbolic, but the Events in Ukraine substack chronicled the story of a gym employee in Odessa who told TCC personnel to fuck off. A few days later, a video was posted to Telegram of the man, tied to a tree, pleading for forgiveness, vowing to accept mobilization, and testifying that he had undergone the process of "otymeli". He was never heard from again.

Blinky gave a departure interview in which he basicly confirms Putin's words that he had to start the SMO as the US started to arm Ukraine 2021.

Secondly Blinking said this " Ukraine’s claim on that territory will always be there. And the question is: Will they find ways – with the support of others – to regain territory that’s been lost?"

Which i think is obvious to most here. That Ukraine will always be a persistent threat to Russia, and the only way to a stable and lasting peace is the dissolution and destruction of Ukraine and it's people..


Now here's hoping Putin wont continue being a retard.
