There's plenty of conservative people on SA, too, but nobody talks about that. Mainly because the more conservative posters don't base their identity on their posting brands and posturing.

LF was actually kind of informative at the beginning, stuff about the US prison system being a mess or some actually informed people on the Middle East mixed with irony about "death to America" and John McCain gifs. But then the good posters moved on and the forum kind of went down in quality until the only thing left was the shit you're talking about being posted by the people who didn't realize "Bin Laden is a freedom fighter" was at least a little bit tongue in cheek.

from what I understood at one point the admins deigned to make certain FYAD members IKs of LF in order to spruce the place up, and they ended up making rules like "you must post a picture of Bart Simpson at the end of every post or else you're banned"

After LF started kicking up trouble for the management, the admins did basically what they did to the shmorky thread. Got their FYAD buddies in to shit up the place till they could justify closing it. They didn't actually manage to get people to leave, and it was eventually closed when they got Lowtax a visit from the FBI.

lol yeah, it had gone to shit at that point and the admins probably hated it and were trying to kill it. They also moved it to an intentionally poorly designed part of the forum

This had the impact of making the people who still bothered even more retarded.
