"Doxing" in 2025

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
If the issue is with state legislatures and law then there is potential for "dox" and its replacements being caught in a unending cat-and-mouse word game.
I agree. If we create a new word for doxxing, then journoscum will claim the new word is simply another word for doxxing (which is not completely wrong). To normies and lawmakers, the new word will mean whatever journos tell them it means.

There are two definitions of doxing (alt. doxxing):

a. Form of harassment in which personal information is used to intimidate, threaten, or distress others.
b. Searching / archiving public information and reposting it.
There are two definitions for doxxing. Therefore, I propose that instead of creating an entirely new word, we amend the word doxxing with two new adjectives.

Doxxing a. becomes journoscum-doxxing, crim-doxxing, or something else

Doxxing b. becomes real-doxxing

By adding 'real' before 'doxxing,' we convey there are multiple definitions for doxxing without relinquishing ownership of the word. If we and other online spheres adopt this new usage, when journoscum inevitably discuss these new terms, they will be forced to acknowledge doxxing has multiple definitions.

Of course, journoscum will still try to distort these new terms. However, it will enter into the normie consciousness the idea that there are multiple definitions for doxxing.

Ok I've thought about it all day and I have to go with InfoDump as a serious answer. Not moralizing, nor faggy, not "taking it back" or "sleight of handy". Just describes a thing that happened.

Some info leaked out. Some say too much, but who's to say? It's an Infodump.

ETA: and it also shortens to ID. So you ID someone. And if it fails it's a Fail-ID.

I'm partial to phonebooking for the easy shorthand of PB, but the moment any new term becomes common parlance here, the usual crew of troons will work relentlessly to get it tagged with the same connotation as doxxing (and it will be even easier if it only gains traction on the Farms). In 4 - 6 years we'll have to replace it with "deetyeeting" (no offense pajeets) or some other stupid neologism.

If we need a verb, I propose "did a journalism". It's already in use by the people who subverted the language, and will piss them off.

"I did a journalism on LFJ's orbiter, here's the deets/receipts/infodump/etc".

FWIW I like Archiving.

It's a commonly used term here already. It's storing disparate available information in one place. Somebody's archive is the result of them being archived.

Maybe the noun could be white page, if phonebooking continues to be the popular option.

e.g. "After hours of searching, I was able to phonebook him and I posted his white page in the thread."

This is just the beginning of the slippery slope, the woke language police infecting my sneeding website. Next thing you know, you won't be able to say 'nigger' as that's poor optics for Josh's shiny new foundation. Mark my words! It can happen here!

In all seriousness, this is gay and will go nowhere, but will at least be funny.

another vote for Phonebooking, because it basically makes any boomer go "wait a minute, why are they so mad about that?" It reminds me of all the non-internet fucks that started questioning the narrative once they started calling Kayne a nazi and white supremacist.

As gay as the term "unmasking" is, we might as well use their own language against them.
Ideally this will also cause the trannies to change their terminology to something sillier in an attempt to distinguish it as a good thing when they do it. I wager it'll be chunky pseudo-scientific jargon; these are people who call reporting on their shitty behavior "stochastic terrorism," after all.

Sorry Null, but it feels incredibly tone deaf to self-censor over the word "dox" when there's threads over here where posters replace every single comma, quotation marks, and dot with 'niggerfaggot'.
And to be honest niggerfaggot I do think that the word niggerfaggot infograb niggerfaggot could be a feasible alternative for doxing in case things get worse niggerfaggot

War has changed.
It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines.
War and it's consumption of life has become a well-oiled machine.
War has changed.
ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons, use ID-tagged gear. Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities.
Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control…everything is monitored and kept under control.
War…has changed.
The age of deterrence has become the age of control, all in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction, and he who controls the battlefield, controls history.
War…has changed.
When the battlefield is under total control, war becomes routine.

I won't appease these imbeciles. I won't change my words to appease the English Government or some subsector of the Internet zeitgeist (which changes it's mind and definitions daily).

Examples of these retards:
Words are literally violence
Men can be women/give birth/lactate/have periods
Drag Queen Story Hour (but for some reason- only little kids?)

BUT, if dear feeder requires us to change - make it extremely offensive and/or a glowie trigger-word.

Deanon is the only one that isn't gay or means something else.

Receipts as I already see it used would refer to the archiving of what the cow posts; dox on the other hand is just their identifying info.

Infodump is frequently used literally to mean the dumping of lots of info - not just dox.

Phonebooking sounds like some made up sex act on urban dictionary, but if everyone else likes it I guess it would do.
