For accuracy purposes, she was raised religious but doesn't go to church as an adult. She's most likely a Reddit atheist or ex-Catholic.
Edit: I also wanted to clarify something in an earlier post in case it's misinterpreted. I think her son character is just the most interesting in the context of her comic. I hate that she used his real name and I just pity him for that.

Same deal with her son. They should dye their hair in complicated ways so Ellen will be too lazy to draw them accurately.
Edit: And to add even more, Ellen's Patreon is 18+. So a comic portraying them can be linked to her mom's porn. What's next? Her son appears to be treated nicely in school, but it might just be because he's so young and his peers haven't tried looking up porn. have you asked yourself "WHY they hate homeless?" her comic is pure virtue signaling and the portrayal of exclusively a poor old mentally stable man in a wheelchair, and her comments all being akin to "they just hate poor homeless folx i love homeless they're just down on their luck" shows she hasn't been around any or is one of the dangerously retarded. WHY is public ""camping"" bad, as shown in the comic, particularly sidewalk tents? because they lead into sidewalk cities, which leads into a big steaming pile of human shit in front of businesses, and either the sidewalk turning into a toll booth of "hey bro you got 10? yeah i need 10 too my dog just died and im out of gas and i lost my job and i cant eat", which can lead into them guilt tripping at best or possibly getting pushy or violent, especially to LONE VULNERABLE WOMEN/CHILDREN getting off work or going into a store, possibly getting drug zombies or straight up psychos waving a knife around in the air. you might even say how poor those people are and excuse all that, but would you go to those places or the walmart down the road instead from now on? imagine getting off work of a shit job with just enough to pay your bills, and you have a human toll booth outside the door scratching their neck asking if you have spare change (they do not give a shit about change, they want 5+). every other stop before the main road there's some random homeless set up staring at you asking for another 5 dollars.
no, a lot of people don't start hating all homeless people, but a lot of people don't have 5+ to donate multiple times a day every day to most likely a druggie/alchoholic. they don't want them near their families or wives with more and more and more stories of a homeless person tweaking out and attacking or stabbing people at random or because they weren't given enough. the known targeting of lone women because they know there's that element of threat and giving money to just go away. over, and over, and over, and over, turns into no, fuck you, if i gave money to all of you, i'd be homeless, and you still would be too. is some shit retarded, yes. rich/semi rich people buying shit houses, adding in new floors and charging double, en masse. mass immigration and that meaning more and more instead of a few families fighting for a nice house, youve got yourself and 12+ mexican families translating through their kids for a PREMIUM shit house or RENTAL, or just living with your own family. yes there's a solid 20% of homeless people that have ptsd or mental issues that you would have no problem caring for or trying to help at a arm's distance. thing is, those people are fucked in the head and usually aren't asking for help, they're just somewhere random looking lost and you have to notice that and just give them some food or a backpack with scarfs etc. they might not even take it and think it's poisoned, dangerous etc. down on their luck people are having to constantly be on their feet or driving, getting whatever work they can, benefit applications etc. those can't sit on a corner 5+ hours, and if they can pass drug tests and can't just black out every day, then they have to do shit to keep going.
there's even a phenomena that places that allow tent cities etc make homeless travel to that city to set up shop. it's difficult to do anything to help homeless because many of them don't want to help themselves and choose or accept being homeless. its difficult to run shelters because if a single dealer ever gets in they become drug dens. theft/ violence is rampant, bedbugs etc leads to strict rules and/or homeless just avoiding them. people even like kurt cobain had to sleep in maternity ward waiting rooms at hospitals or other locations, like going 10 or so feet in the woods and setting up a tent, subway tunnels, sheds on display outside places like lowes, graveyards, various nooks and crannies. it's not fun or supposed to be permanent but if there's a will to survive and you're not a violent dickhead there's a way. tent cities are nearly all people that are just their because no taxes, all income toward drugs, alchohol, smokes, and maybe a 5 dollar meal or just "obtaining" some cans of food from a supermarket.
"the pursuit of happyness" homeless exist but are working their asses off. some sadly need to be institutionalized and are beyond "fixing", and then the remaining majority are short or long term trash, bluntly

He started asking for more. No. I regret I even did that. Fortunately he wasn't a druggie and I could safely walk away.
The mentally unstable beggars will follow you because you look vulnerable and keep a hand in their jacket that could contain a knife or gun. They'll stalk you, asking for money more and more.
