I think a lot of ftm / fujo level thinking is that when a man is submissive it's by choice but when a women is submissive it's seen as something women are inherently are / do not have a choice about because of the strength disparity. So when ftms say fag I think they mean I'm choosing to be overtly submissive and sexual (because they've chosen to be a man) rather than highlighting their inherent physical strength vulnerability which is what they would feel like they were doing if they were just women.

I think when Vicki says she survived being gay she means she survived being an attractive young woman in what was probably middle school + all zoomers grew up with porn from a young age, so exploring your sexual identity would have mean engaging with the porn idea of sexuality. So you had to hide it / develop it privately through alternative means (often yaoi shit) a bit like gay people had to previously hide themselves. Like I remember in the pooner zoo thread there was a run of tweets where ftm fantasy scenarios were just heterosexual relationships but had to happen secretly / be negotiated with risk on both sides because 'gay stigma'. I don't know that I would necessarily believe Vicki if she said she was sexually assaulted or something like that because she doesn't read that way to me but I can easily see her getting a lot of negative attention looking the way she used to especially if she was at a rich kid school (rich kids aren't known for being empathetic). If they stop early, maybe. Hair loss treatments like finasteride/dutasteride etc. can help as well. If Vicky is telling the truth and she's been on testosterone consistently since 2017, not likely. The prednisone may have also contributed to hair loss (on her head, it causes hirsutism everywhere else).

I have to disagree with all the people here who think it was an accident, I think the mom really was being savage. There's a certain type of passive-aggressiveness you can find in some middle-class-and-up moms and this matches this behavior to a tee.

For reference, I once had a friend tell me about how after she put on maybe 10-20 pounds while away at college, her mother sent her a clothing package with all these hideous XXL sized pants and underwear that were like a tent on her, and then insisted afterwards that she thought that it really was her daughter's size now, and was just trying to set her up with some nice new clothes. It's a very female-on-female type of violence aggression and that fact must make Vicky seethe extra hard.

Although, Victoria's mom differs in the sense that Victoria kind of deserves it.
