It's Lockheedover...Proper or FS2020/2024 pick one.

CaptainSim has a pretty good one for Prepar3d but they are scummy devs now so don't expect updates. They randomly do day long sales via their mailing list where they sell all their stuff 95% off sometimes. It's Lockheedover...

What are you thinking of FS2024? Not had much of a chance to get stuck into it as the character creator was bugged and would crash everything for a while. Graphically I’m really not impressed. Runways look terrible and that’s the one thing I thought they’d at least get right.I just want a proper L-1011 TriStar for FS2020/2024 bros....
Haven't got it yet, given how buggy it is. Maybe when everything is fixed at it's on sale at some time. What are you thinking of FS2024? Legit that's the reason I've been just going back to FSX lol, old fucking reliable I guessAll the flight sims right now suck asssss X-Plane 12 still has weird feeling physics imo, prepar3d v6 is a joke, and FS is also a joke just in another way. The only hope is when xplane 13 is made in like 10 years it's not shit fuckkkkkk.
I'd really recommend looking into prepar3d v5 if you can get it for free then. It's just FSX with updated physics and graphics by Lockheed martin. Sadly not backwards compatible with add-ons though. V6 though they literally fucking updated the anti aliasing on a game with 2008 era graphics and called it a day then put it up for a new 60 dollar license.Legit that's the reason I've been just going back to FSX lol, old fucking reliable I guess
Gay. Mine has been the P-61 since I was 9 or 10. However in the last 4 years I've reality started to love another forgotten one, actually much-much-much more obscure. The P4M Mercator. A hybrid 2 Wasp Majors 2 Allison J33's Maritime Reconnaissance aircraft. A wonderful mix of WWII and post-war.Holy shit, where was my gold gilded invite on fancy paper?
I have a better question: what’s your favorite airplane, and (no disrespect to the SR-71) why is it the DC-3?
Also, any photogs? No powerleveling, just want to know if anyone else has spent money on camera equipment for the sheer purpose of capturing flying objects.
It really is the best Trijet. I wish Lockheed made more commercial aircraft.
I love all planes, and I appreciate the Mercator. But I will toilet paper your house if you don’t reverence the DC-3 in all her myriad forms.Gay. Mine has been the P-61 since I was 9 or 10. Burt Rutan has - and still is - coming up with crazy ass designs. He can look at an MC Escher painting and say, “yes, I can make this work aerodynamically, somehow.” He is a genius. His only rival, who passed away back in May, was his brother Dick. Burt built them, Dick flew them, including the famous Rutan Voyager. Here’s some Rutan porn, including one of my personal favorites, the Beech Starship:I was at an aerodrome once upon a time when something I'd never seen landed and taxied up next to me. It looked like an X-Wing; turned out to be a Rutan Long-EZ.
The owner told me he and his wife had retired and wanted to travel, so they looked at buying a new LandCruiser and a caravan. That would've set them back around $200,000, whereas the fully refurbished Long-EZ cost him $80,000.
He said they could fly from the Sunshine Coast to Port Moresby without stopping.
Really seemed like a great way to enjoy retirement.
Anyway, I'm a rotary wing guy - CPL(H) holder - but I was really impressed by the little plane that John Denver killed himself with.
The only DC-3 that I really care for is the Spooky.I love all planes, and I appreciate the Mercator. But I will toilet paper your house if you don’t reverence the DC-3 in all her myriad forms.
Pic tax: that famous DC-4 with a tumor, the Carvair. I used to see one growing up… loud, ugly, and cool. Ran automotive parts.

Somehow I had foolishly believed myself into thinking that Burt Rutan had died years back, I mean, surely his organs would have failed under the enormous amounts of cocaine. Glad to know he's still snorting and drawing.Burt Rutan has - and still is - coming up with crazy ass designs.
