No, the problem is he isn't talking to the base enough. His willingness to let random ass 10k views podcasts interview him is actually great as it causes massive butthurt to legacy media who are used to having full control of the narrative.

He was interviewed by the biggest streamers and podcasters. That is what got him a win. Not going onto shows by fox news rejects. Logan Paul, Adin Ross, Theo Von, and Joe Rogan are not some small time podcasts.

The difference was that you had Donald Trump in office, and for most of that first term the economy was improving for the first time for average Americans in a very long time. The media had tried its utmost to smear him with every tool they had and yet people saw that they actually had money. Even worse? They had fucking Joe Biden as the only non-retard in the DNC after Obama and Hillary gutted the DNC for 16 years. The only thing that could stop Trump was a black swan event and they got it in a decently strong flu variant from China.

You have to remember that just before Wuflu was yet another failed impeachment of Trump that made it hard for Trump to really respond. I still remember the threads here. I still remember the Chinese dude with a halberd outside his town telling people to fuck off. It was great memework... though more importantly, it was memework that was allowed to escape from China. Winnie the Pooh was also no fan of Trump so that kind of information leaking out gave the media outside of China red meat. Combine that with politicians right as Wuflu started spread telling people to act completely contrary to best practices and you get a sickness that's primed to spread.

If Hillary Clinton had been in office do you think she would have allowed the media to whip up a frenzy? Or do you think she would have called up CNN and MSNBC and told them in no uncertain terms that they either shut up about a stronger flu in an election year or they start having unfortunate accidents?

Harris was so bad for them that they're trying for Wuflu 2: Fuck Dat Nigga Trump already.

You are assuming Hillary wouldn't have had an orgasm thinking about how much more powerful she would become with a pandemic and how she could just use it to rig herself a second term.

Polls are pretty clear that being anti-dreamer can be a killer. Normal voters actually are sympathetic to the general idea of kids who get brought over the border and grow up in America. Being anti-dreamer is what killed any of the potential of the nativists last time, leading to the GOP forcing itself to become radically more corporatist. This is also what lead to the California GOP overplaying it's hand and promptly becoming politically irrelevant clowns.

Trump won with an extensive majority, and that majority includes Latinos, old-fashioned Liberals, and normies in general. Expecting him to be hard-right on every issue is pol level retarded and needlessly threatens the midterms.
