I don't think redditors understand that the theory of the Soviet Union (or any communist state) and it's ideas, seem very good in theory but immediately collapse the second they come into contact with reality. But that tracks because these people want "easy answers". They're so accustomed to instant gratification that when they don't have it they sperg out. I don't think it's because of any diagnosable mental issue. I think it's because of immaturity. These people are emotionally stunted and immature.


That's why they claim they all have ADHD or autism or whatever. But when you read the subreddits (or support places) for people who actually have adhd or autism or whatever you realize they don't "act" like that. If anything they're deeply frustrated with themselves. If you go on the subreddits for people who suffer from autogenophilia and compare it to the tranny subreddits it's night and day.

4chan is flat out unusable on most boards since it has been inundated with bots and cordniggers for years, and I think it's worse because on the surface 4chan seems to be an active "anonymous filter-free community" but it really isn't. Reddit hasn't even pretended to be like this in almost ten years and everyone to some degree or another is aware of how astroturfed the site is.

Reddit is still worse, but that's not really saying anything.

My local subs seem to be running on fumes. Posting is down like maybe 50% from just a couple years ago. Probably 1/4 of the posts are obvious bot training type shit and/or corporate plants (ie "what's the best NYC style pizza in town") and a few users probably comprise 4/5 of all posts and the majority of comments as well.

I used to see gold being given out fairly often but I don't think I've seen a single gilded post in months. Maybe the IPO convinced some of the autists to stop giving away their money to what is at the end of the day an "evil" corporation.

You're thinking too hard. Look Marx was revolutionary in his time because he came up in a period where the worst of the industrial revolution was occuring. In an era where works had zero rights, zero workers safety, and zero guarantees. So marx is providing an alternative. Remember much of what marx preaches is true in the sense that corporations rob us of our individuality and sell it back. What he's saying isn't retarded, he's speaking in generalizations. He's saying that under current capitalism (think 1870s-1890s, where people didn't have days off). Your life is your work, you have to work in the textile factory because if you don't then you will starve, and you can't look for work elsewhere because you don't have the time off too look for work. you work to live and live to work (get paid in company script sorta stuff). However under a communist society, you will have the luxury of time and money to pursue other interests.


Why it's stupid to still be a communist today is because society has adapted past communism. we have days off, a social safety system, workers rights, etc. Anyone who still promotes Communism still thinks that it's 1890 and if I get my hand chopped off in a shoe making machine I still have to make shoes or I'll starve to death. Communism works in places like india or Bangladesh. Not the USA or the West.
