I can count on one hand the number of times I have seen a party ask for an extension of time, and the other party refuses to confer with opposing counsel and agree to it. It's basic decency outside some very unusual set of circumstances. Better yet, childishly resisting such an extension is almost never in anyone's own self-interest because they are granted as a matter of course.

I'm pretty sure the judge is pissed getting having to get directly involved to deal with plaintiff-caused squabbles like this. There was also no chance he wasn't going to grant the request.
He cant have time to respond, because he could come up with a valid response, thats not fair! This is the classic BlitzGreer tactic.

I'd like to pretend the judge is ignoring Russ's filings and only reading Hardin's because he makes the most sense in this story.
Oh no. This simple granting of an extension was a slap to the Plightiff. Clearly indicating the Judge is NOT ignoring Russ, but rather does not like what he is seeing. The phrasing of this order has quite a bit of subtext to it.

I have a thought about what Hardin may be up to with a response to the debtor examination but I am both not a legal fag and going to keep my yap shut to see if I'm right.
Didn't we have a posting about the Wyoming address that a check sent there was returned or something? Was that an attempt to pay for the the witness testimoney or to pay the court debt?

Check to Greer's current listed address bounced, and that's how Mr. Hardin discovered the Wyoming thing. That's as far as we know.

Ah that makes sense. I suspect a check (and other legal documents) might be sent certified mail which gets verified and NOT forwarded, and the postman isn’t going to “fix” little fuckywuckies with the address that he might do otherwise.

Maybe the judge is a secret kiwi and is doing this all intentionally to pile up more and more stuff to shitpost about and laugh at in this thread
The likelyhood of that being true is strong enough that Russ should make a motion about it, and probably let the 10th know. His judge participating in the very hardship forum is likely proof he’s bias.

yes, we did, and mr. hardin responded beautifully:

Judgey-Boy is getting uppity. It's looking like this case is going to have to go back to the only adults in the room, the 10th Circuit.

We see Greer name-dropping the 10th Circuit more and more lately. Like he's telling this judge, "You're not my real mom! You can't tell me what to do! The 10th Circuit always lets me play Xbox and watch the Penthouse channel!"
